Big Fangs... Ah... it has been some time now, I believe. I had fled Beluaterra for the Far East following this even, an invasion is no place for one of my skills.

Let's see... I was in Thalmarkin, one of the northern realms... in fact, the one at the northern coast. I had finished my training just a few weeks earlier, I believe, and had finally come back from a successful assassination on a man who had caused my brothers alot of harm, not to mention that he had accumulated a very fair bounty on his head. Sandefur, the realm's city, had recently seceded to form Lemundia, a small realm that quickly became an isolated city-state. Unger also seceded from Melhed, where Valentia was reborn. Diplomacy was confusing at the time, or so I was told, it mattered little to me.

Monsters had been spotted in Nuzanki, our capital, asking for special items before leaving to find them elsewhere. During Valentia's rebirth, a noble named Hagalaz had earned a 300 gold bounty on his head, a mere noble of a minor family, who had no accomplishments under their belts. Sensing an easy prey, I set out for Unger, where I awaited for the man to return. He never did... joined Khthon, apparently. Anyways, I was waiting there, and this monster, Hulgord (or something of the like) arrived.

Becoming impatient about all this waiting, I decided that I would be the first to put down one of those creatures, and so I set out at dawn, and managed to track to creature down to some hidden caves in the region. Maybe he had smelled me arrive, I don't know, he didn't seem to surprised. However, he wasn't properly armed so I sunk my dagger into him, putting him down... But more of them appeared from behind, they took me like a doll and dragged me to their leader.

Big Fangs, it was. I could not see him well, it was too dark where I was detained. I could tell he was no human by the smell though... A smell I would recognise instantly should he find himself near me again. "You hurt one of us, I will hurt you", he said. Not caring much for diplomacy there anyways, and trying to find a way out of that mess, I offered to seek out his items for him. After a bit of talk, he was more... "friendly". "You seek out items. Me hurt you just a little" was the last things he said to me. Since I wasn't eager for another visit, I stopped sending him messages, and luckily he seemed to have forgotten me: he never came.

I was a few days in there I believe, and time was running out, so in his absence, I payed the guards, a fair ransom, I should say. And so, with a bit of luck, I had escaped Big Fangs, and so I packed my belongings and took the first ferry to the Far East. I did not want to be in one of their dungeons again...

And that is my tale of Beluaterra... I'm not a good story teller though... I did what I could, as best I remembered.
