Vothrawr Family

Family History

It is most commonly said that the Vothrawr family originates from Lower Tell. In fact, the family originally made its home on a small island off of Atamara's coast, not far from the lands controlled by The Barony.

After a monster raid many years ago, the family left for the mainland and settled in Lower Tell.

The Vothrawr's remained as a small family, unworthy of much recognition until Turkos Vothrawr, eldest of three brothers, joined the military ranks of The Barony of Makar.

Turkos Vothrawr

The eldest of three brothers, Turkos first joined the ranks of The Barony's military at the head of a small infantry unit made up of his family's servants. These first "Grog Haulers" saw several battles with their lord before eventually being wiped out.

Turkos was raised to Hero status after aiding in the defence of The Howling Wastes during several days worth of monster raids. He carries the honour proudly and continues to conduct himself as a proper hero should.

Turkos is currently the only brother who has participated in a duel. A mutual challenge between himself and the Lady Raine Landre, contesting which martial style was superior; Headbutting or Hammering. After a hard fought battle, Turkos outlasted the Lady Raine and won the challenge with his trusty hammer.

Oron Vothrawr

Younger than Turkos by only a year, Oron grew tired of a comfortable and easy life early on. He set out at the young age of 16 in order to prove to himself and others that he would earn the nobility given to him, not have it simply passed on as an heirloom. Because of the trials, tribulations and wisdom gained during his years spent traveling, he is often mistaken as the eldest of the three.

He traveled many lands for years in search of a suitable home. Eventually he landed on the continent of Dwilight where he found his place in the still savage realm of Everguard.

Taking up arms for the Emerald throne he has valiantly led his archers, "The Impaling Rain" in both the defence of and expansion of Everguard.

Brenner Vothrawr

The youngest of the brothers, Brenner followed in Oron's footsteps. Only, Brenner took it a step further and shed his noble status altogether. Choosing the life of an Adventurer he set off to do battle with monsters and seek glory without the aid of his family's name.

For the longest time Brenner had been out of contact with his older brothers and it was not until recently that Turkos and Oron received word from the youngster. In a spot of trouble, Brenner was running from Suville where he had aligned himself and was making a break for his homelands in The Barony. He did not say why he was on the run but upon arriving in Barony lands, Brenner formally swore allegiance once again to the Barony and has been working his way through his homeland with sword drawn.
