Von Neuman Family

The Von Neuman family originates from Ammersfield, in the Colonies. The half brothers Victor and Garren both serve their home realm of Giblot. A cousin Owen serves Enweil in Beluaterra, while Lazarath is a founding member of Kindara on the Far East.

Victor

Victor is often rash, a dedicated over-achiever, and somewhat stuffy. He thinks himself a hero, or at least a cavalier. He has finally recovered from the losss of Giblot and found reason in a world driven to madness by the ever encroaching Apostles of the Abyss.

Victor was a follower of the Kami. Though not overly pious, his keen sense of honor is greatly offended by the Apostles of the Abyss. Though Victor generally considers looting and burning below his station, he has made exceptions for temples and shrines dedicated to the worship of the darkness. He served briefly as the ceremonial Baron of the Steepglades and harbors a deep desire to return to the manor there.

Garren

Garren is the younger half brother of Victor. When Victor was born, his mother died in childbirth. Vincent Von Neumann then wed his wife's sister and conceived Garren. Thus the brothers are also first cousins. Garren is the far more level headed of the two, and yet more whimsical. Garren is the consummate little brother, never failing to goad Victor when he might. He lives to serve as Lord of Ammersfield.

Poetry

Wounded in Hilly Holes in his first battle ever, Garren upon waking wrote a poem as follows:

There once were some Tilogs in Hilly Holes
Who sold to the beast their eternal souls
Then came brothers of Ammersfield
Who bested them on the field
And now the fiends probe Tilog's many holes

Publications

Garren briefly ran a little known rag (the Giblot Guillotine), though it has been on hiatus for quite a number of moons now.

Owen

Is the eldest son of Richard Von Neumann, the eldest brother of Vincent. For a time, Owen served the Cagilan Empire in Atmara. He grew disillusioned with the empire and its institutions during the sack of York. He has since emigrated to Beluaterra, and now serves Enweil as a courtier and Lord of Gorin in defense of humanity itself.

Lazarath

Is the second son of Richard Von Neumann, the eldest brother of Vincent. Where his older brother Owen burned and pillaged in the name of the Empire, Lazarath's sense of honour is far too strong to endorse much less participate in such behaviours. Though he started his career in Cathay, he was a founding member of Kindara where he served as the Count of Todtpiz during her restoration. After marshaling the grand army of Kindara in her war against the Sartans, he was granted the city of Masahakon upon her capitulation.
