Early Life

The second son of Besene Vlakider, Beziel was brought up to fight. Through his father's constant fear that another massacre of Vlakiders would occur, Beziel was also taught to take his brother's position on top of the military and war training that he had to take for his own position. Because of this, Beziel often carried a deep resentment with Vlad, and felt that he was more qualified to be the protector of the family home. After a night of drinking, Beziel came home and demanded his wishes of his father, causing his father to send Beziel away to the realm of Eston, which was at the time a border country to Lyton.

Service in Eston up to the End of the Viking War

Once in Eston, Beziel sobered himself and dedicated himself to fighting for his adoptive realm. Gradually he gained the status of Hero and was appointed to Count of Fiddleford for his efforts. During his tenure as Count, Beziel developed a connection with his wards that was shattered when Fiddleford was attacked during the Viking war. Despite orders to fall back, Beziel remained in Fiddleford and fought throughout the takeover. The loss of Fiddleford was a loss that haunted him throughout the rest of his life, as it was similar to the loss of his own ambitions in his home. Beziel was later elected Arch Priest of Eston for a short period, and aided in the formation of the Eston Shield. It was during this time that Beziel developed a close relationship with a young High Marshal by the name of Andrew McKay.
After his service as Arch Priest, Beziel chose to remain out of the political limelight, though he continued distinguished service during the Battles for Moramroth. His most notable return to Eston public life was during the Eston Civil War, when in an attempt to salvage the honor of the Massilion citizenry he challenged each Massilion nobleman that wished to fight the war out to a duel to the death. Though a few duels followed, no deaths occured and Massilion by large was assimilated back into Eston.

Eston Interbellum

Following the Eston Civil war Beziel made only one notable impact, and that was as the defense attourney in the trial of the Black Duke Kahooli. Beziel was selected as a last minute replacement for the original attourney, in part because of his previous experience as Arch Priest. Though the Black Duke was convicted, Beziel successfully kept him from being sentenced to Death. Beziel also became entangled with the tricky Dafayo, sponsoring not only the reenovation of his own Family Crest but also spent away much of his money to support the conniving artist. When Dafayo was banished for suspicion of being involved in the Blackest Cult, Beziel was one of the few noblemen of fame who believed Defayo innocent. For the rest of his life, Beziel kept friendly correspondance with Dafayo.

The ECAF and Death

Due to the contemporary nature of Beziel's death, only a few details are known to the public. It is known that when Eston struck against Falasan Beziel was the marshal during the opening skirmish in Belegmon. It is also known that the following night, when the fighting increased, Beziel was wounded. He continued fighting until the weight of his wounds finally caused him to fall. When the official notice was sent out he was titled as being the Marshal of the Eston Counter Assault Force, of which details have not been released. As more information becomes available I hope to flesh out the life of this turbulent family member.

Beziel's Memorial

Originally created to hold the body of the hero Beziel, the tomb has become a memorial in Hawthorne city and contains no body (since the body was taken by Beziel’s family to be buried elsewhere). The entire memorial was hand carved by the Outlaw Dafayo and built by his mason squad. This memorial stands to honor the great hero for all time to come.
