User:Vita`/Wiki Clean-up Project

A project that I began awhile ago to help clean-up and organize the wikipedia. Feel free to drop suggestions on how to better to do this and what should be included. I just threw this list together from off the top of my head.

Stage One

I have the goal of massively reducing the Orphaned Pages.

Phase One

I intend to slowly wade through the page and move and delete request pages as I find necessary. - Completed on November 18, 2008

Phase Two

I intend to organize the unique items so they are easily accessible and linked to at least once. - Completed on December 25, 2008

Phase Three

I intend to add the unlinked families to Family Pages. I will also make sure that any characters and their subpages are linked to from within the family or character page. - Completed on December 24, 2008

Phase Four

I intend to organize the realms and their subpages so that all are linked to and easily accessible. - Completed on January 16, 2009

Phase Five

I intend to organize the guilds and religions, with each of their subpages, so that all are linked to and easily accessible.

Phase Six

I intend to find an appropriate link for all the remaining pages that should have links.

Stage Two

I have the goal of going through the Broken redirects, Double redirects, Wanted categories, Categories, Uncategorized Categories, and Disambiguation pages Special pages and removing and/or organizing them.

Phase One

I intend to go through the wanted categories and adding them or removing the links to them as necessary.

Phase Two

I intend to go through the categories to make sure they are worthy of category-status and removing the links and delete requesting them as necessary.

Phase Three

I intend to go through the Uncategorized Pages and add any necessary categories.

Phase Four

I intend to go through the disambiguation pages and properly link all the pages pointing to them before requesting the deletion of the disambiguation pages.

Phase Five

I intend to go through the double redirects and remove them.

Phase Six

I intend to go through the broken redirects and adding the content or requesting their deletion as necessary.

Stage Three

I have the goal of sorting through the Dead-end pages Special page and removing it.

Phase One

I intend to go through the page moving pages and delete requesting them as appropriate.

Phase Two

I intend to go through the guild, family, newspaper, unique item, region, realm, and religion pages and adding links where appropriate.

Phase Three

I intend to go through the remaining pages and add links where necessary.

Stage Four

I have the goal of either adding information on the Wanted pages Special page or removing the links.

Phase One

I intend to go through the page moving pages and delete requesting them as appropriate.

Phase Two

I intend to create the region and realm pages.

Phase Three

I intend to create character pages of families if there is enough information or remove the links to families and characters.

Phase Four

I intend to go through the remaining links adding information or removing links as necessary.

Stage Five

I have the goal of adding all the information I have floating around to the wikipedia.

Phase One

I intend to finish the transfer of any remaining information from the tiki to the wiki. A lot of information was lost, but I went through the Wayback Machine and grabbed the urls of what remains and placed them at Tiki.

Phase Two

I intend to transfer a bunch of notes on daimons I've got sitting on my computer.

Phase Three

I intend to interview some old players and write and edit histories as necessary.
