"The Joining"

"The joining can only be held during a full moon "The great moon". The ceremony involves the current Wolf-Lord of the host clan drawing a circle to surround him/herself. The host Wolf-Lord and leader of the clan or pack that wishes to join both cutting the arm and uniting both the hand and blood of the two. Fenris members can also join or rejoin clans during this time..

"The Gift"

The third quarter is a time when the clan mourn the dead. This is a time of great celebration for the clans do not morn their dead but celebrate the life they offered.

"The Birth"

A Fenris can form a new clan during the New Moon, but members can only join a clan during the joining. The new clan must be accepted by the established clans or the new clan may face extinction. This time is called the "great rest" for when the moon sleeps the clans become close to their current members and a time where they are weary of the Fenris.

"The Blessing"

Marriages are held during the first quarter of the lunar phase. The Union must be accepted by the Clan leader and the Wolf lord may consummate the marriage during the first night of the moons waking.

These are the Standard ceremonies for the clans of the South Island. Not all clans follow the same ceremonies. The Orchid clan for example does not follow the moon phase ceremonies, they instead follow a simpler fashion of direct worship of the Orchid Wolf. Prayers for guidance when lost, the strength to do what is right, for unity of the people both on and off the battlefield. Joining the Orchid clan is far simpler, it requires the will to follow the Orchid Wolf, and the ackknolwedgement of a Lord of the Clans, which are always Odinians. [1].
