Turnover in Fwuvoghor

In the past week, the Republic of Fwuvoghor has gone through a Civil War, between the Republicans and Monarchists. Retravic, wife of Irombrozian Rebel leader Hiereshmont Vellos, and former Fwuvoghoran Prime Minister called for a rebellion against the newly elected Prime Minister Widfara Exiled. Retravic points out that Widfara does not embody what the Republic was originally meant to be, and has destroyed the RoF alliance with Enweil. Retravic also claimed that Widfara was secretly an undead zombie in disguise. After days of fighting, Retravic took over control of Fwuvoghor, ended the peace process Widfara had started, and reformed Fwuvoghor into a monarchy. Calling it the "Monarchical Republic of Fwuvoghor."

Now I have a few points to make about this. First, the term Monarchical Republic is an oxymoron. The proper name of the new Fwuvoghor should be the QoF, Queendom of Fwuvoghor.

Second, anyone who thinks undead have the intelligence or inclination to disguise themselves is clearly not right in the head. Only the Lich King would be willing and able to disguise themselves.

Third, it should be noted that while Widfara did plan to end the alliance with Enweil. He was going to gain an alliance with over 5 ECA member states. In fact, when Retravic was first elected, she dissolved existing alliances as well, severing connections with Fronen and Riombara. If RoF wishes to gain friends, land, and money the logical thing to do is rejoin the ECA.

Finally, the similarities between his rebellion and the Fronenian rebellion are uncanny. Both were battle agains thte forces of peace and war. In Fronen, the tyrannists especially the late Grimbaldus wanted war with Avalon, while the Republicans wanted to forge an alliance with them. By the same token, Retravic seeks war with the ECA, while Widfara sought peace (and possibly alliance, that was still up in the air, no?) In Fronen the Republicans wanted to retain Republican government and open up the Senate to involve more nobles, while the tyrannists wanted a closed monarchy, where disagreement was not tolerated. In Fwuvoghor Widfara wanted to retain the Republic, but Retravic preferred a monarchy where free speech was again suppressed and criminal. Both rebellions had a turning point, initial success for one side, then later a sharp turn in favor of the other. Both rebellion took place in republics where logically the people should've just protested or voted differently to change the rulership, yet instead they used blood and iron. The similarities are endless.

From my point of view the success of this rebellion will only lead to a longer, bloodier war that could have ended by now.
