Maybe it's just me, but this seems way too close to Catholicism to be in good taste. It kind of seems like you've just renamed god. --Indirik 02:01, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

And taken out certain key elements, like Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Some of the views the religion has may be similar (well, some of them), but really not seeing how the religion itself is close to Catholicism, or any brand of Christianity for that matter, than anything modeled vaguely after the Abrahamic tradition. --Morgan Evans 00:11, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm far from a religious scholar myself. But everyone I know who has read this page has remarked something along the lines of "Wow, it's Christianity/Catholicism in BattleMaster. Can they really do that?" It seems to me that all you've done is take a large portion of popular Catholicism, removed the Holy Spirit (but you do have an "Enlightened Spirit"), and changed the names around a bit. Any religion in BattleMaster where anyone who reads it can look at it and immediately recognize a real-world religion is, again in my opinion, far too close to reality to be in good taste. --Indirik, Editor (talk) 13:04, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Page Name?

Is there anybody here? These page name issues still have not been sorted out. And now that the religion has been officially founded, it is actually called "The Church of Elyon". The official page for the religion should be located at The Church of Elyon to correspond with the name used in-game. I would move the page myself and delete the extraneous pages, but these pages are not identical, and I don't want to miss any of the information. --Indirik 16:05, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Sorry I was a bit busy last days because of moving to the new home. Correct page is The Church of Elyon the Life Giver. As I am only person who just helped to set the wiki page, not one connected to religion I've had no idea what the real religion name will be. I will move page to correct naming, and remove "The Church of Elyon Life Giver" page, it somehow came into existance after moving the page, and is relict stuff. --Auburn 21:56, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
