This seems to be the opposite of the Light_of_Fontan religion --Lumberjack 10:58, 11 August 2006 (CEST)

Actually

That guild/church seems to be nothing like the BC. Your group places stories and idols in the hearts and minds of its members. Your stories are considered real and the members show homage unto your idols and gods.

The BC makes no effort to so this. It allows all members to continue following whatever evil idols or images they always did before. The BC makes no such claims to being "the true religeion" or making up gods to worship, or giving names to anything mystical.

The BC is a group for ALL evil, no matter what they worship or think. It takes all kinds. The group you mentioned only seems to be interested in fninding people who want too accept or trust in your gods/idols/images.

The BC shall never be seen ass a single idea or image. It will have all walks of evil...like a big super villian group (legion of doom, brotherhood of evil etc) and they will all be free to bring their ideas and images to us...we do not cater to those who want to be brainwashed or guided...we only cater to leaders who do not seek stories and gods from us, just wisdom and communion with all evil.

You group has been noted though...we will destroy it. --Vashmere 13:19, 11 August 2006

Questions

Is this a guild/religion? If it is, on what island? and where are the temples/guilhouses? Eirik felde 19:45, 12 August 2006 (CEST)

The cult.

The cult plans to grow into more then a church, more the a guild. It strives to be a diplomecy between all evils. A meeting of all evil churches, guilds and indiviuals of evil.

So no...it would not fall under any single title, since it wishes to meet and commune with all guilds, churches, and indiviuals of evil.

The cult is fairly new, and has no need to control or guide any man's thoughts or directions. We offer no gods, no enforced laws or rules...we offer you nothing but a place to meet and commune with other evils that wish to join forces to combat "good" in the realms.

We do not wish to teach you anything. Or lead you in anyway. We wish to show the "good" world that we as evil people, can join faster, better and with more intent then the good nations of the world that can not even agree for longer then a treatie's death.

Please...read the The Blackest Bible and judge us then.

Skull

Might I suggest the skull symbol is just a tad bit goofy, and not nearly mysterious enough? AlexTurner 02:26, 14 August 2006 (CEST)

Its not the offical symbol...Im picking from my art to see what is worthy. I wanted to see how to upload. It was easy. I didnt even know how to make a link like 5 days ago.

but thanks for the advice..you are correct in saying it is goofy.

Intercontinental

You are aware that intercontinental communication, and organization, is against Tom's rules, right? As in, two guilds on two different continents are not allowed to communicate or be affiliated or anything. Its a rule thats always bugged me, but, hey, its Toms. Which continent is the BC on?

Easy to answer...

The BC has no church, no guild, no nothing. So, if you are trying to say what it is, you will be lost for words. Its a mobile cult and idea. And I don't think "ideas" can be contained by land size or dimensions. If a guild house or church is ever made, that land will become the only home of the BC movement...right now it is a non-localized idealism open for all to meditate on.

(ooc: and if anything pisses Tom off, trust me we will bend over backwards for the guy and change what must be changed. But until he steps forward (or a titan) and says "no" to something, we rest feeling "ok" in what we are doing. I have personally read much of the mailing lists, wikis and Tom-posts on many subjects that people are thinking we might be dangerously close to breaking.

But mostly, Atamara is governed lawless and under the control of players...Im not sayinbg this is the answer to your question, but I sure am pointing to it as the final line of reason if someone thinks the BC is trying to rock the boat in the laws section of BM. No intercontinental guilds? Look at the Order of the Doughnuts. --The1exile 20:50, 19 August 2006 (CEST)

Yeah, I'm surprised the Order of the Doughnuts wasnt LBed. A guild got LBed once for being intercontinental(it got deleted on one continent just as it got started), and Tom forbade Marc J, I believe, from starting a black mambas-esque group in Belluaterra, and I was once asked if any kind of continental connection was allowed(message relays via family, guilds, realms, religions) and was told that it wasnt, and LBs would ensue if such a thing happenned. Vellos 21:04, 19 August 2006 (CEST)

Given Tom's response on the discussion list to this issue, I would have to say that someone either misunderstood or just lied, as he indicated quite clearly that there is no prohibition on having the same guild on multiple continents. They just won't ever have any way of linking between continents except through RP, as Tom won't code it. I suppose it's possible someone got lightning bolted for pestering Tom about coding it, though... --Anaris 23:25, 20 August 2006 (CEST)

Oh, we don't communicate through families and so on... just have an almost identical guild with different leaders and founders and so on. Calvin November found out about it on the wiki and we said sure, make one on the colonies if you like the idea, we wouldn't want to limit it. Lets face it, order of the doughnuts isn't a huge deal, it's never gonna take over the world by eating doughnuts. I'm gonna post to the D-list about it now to check, I'm worried. And I'm not even in that guild any more officially (emigration). --The1exile 21:09, 19 August 2006 (CEST)

lol, also, sidenote about the Church of Qyrvagg: it doesnt claim to be evil at all. In fact, it believes it is the greatest good in the world; essentially. So, yes, they are fools... as are all "good" people, in the BC's views. ;) Vellos 22:35, 19 August 2006 (CEST)

bytheway (ooc: I put the mention of that church as fools "in-game" becuase the BC would hate them...but OOC I put it in there to show homage to them for building such an epic sized religieon.

Brian

Really? wow, I'm flattered, lol. Vellos 22:54, 19 August 2006 (CEST)

OOC: yes...really...and you should be...its cool. Wish more people put that much work into roleplaying. But then again the wiki would be 1000 times larger and Im sure that would be bad for storage or sum thing.
