Query on the Tournament fame
I though thtat the definition of a 'successful' tournament was one that earn you more gold than you ship out. So Enterence Fee * Number of Participant > Winning Jackpot (1st and 2nd on both Events) Just what I heard and Id like to know which is correct. -- Ghostly

I think that's true, too: like the basic Fame page says, "hosting a profitable tournament". I just hosted one that was (technically) profitable, and got the fame point for it. --Anaris 27 December 2005 18:05 (CET)

Prestige; 20 total. I have three characters with 9, 7 and 8 prestige, and 1 fame. So that on can be verified.

Possible fame points

Some time ago, I also got a mysterious point of fame. I don't know where it came from, but one of the following might be possible:

• At the same turn I got the fame, I got the fifth ban for sabotage. All of the 5 bans were in the same Continent. Perhaps 5 sabotage bans give you one fame point.

• Aproximately one year before (I am not sure about dates) I changed one of my characters to Hero. Perhaps having a hero for a year (still living of course) gives 1 point of fame.

Ive had a hero since I was in OG. He later moved to Riombara and has been their for 623 days. No fame!
Ill have to see about the 5 bans. Had 3 on Atamara. Ill have to make a new infiltrator character! -- Petterson

Possible fame points (continued)

Ok, I am almost certain I discovered another fame point. Actually several ones. I mentioned above that I got a fame possibly from 5 sabotage bans in the same continent. It happent again! I got another fame when I got my fifth ban for sabotage in Atamara (the previous 5 were in the east continent). So, if you get a fame for 5 bans in each continent there are 5 possible points (Atamara, Beluaterra, East Continent, Colonies, Far East). This might me a coinsident, but since nothing else special happened during the turn in which I got the fame, what are the chances??

Tom, could you please shed some light here?
