The eldest son of the current Matriarch of the House, Cassandra, Pistalexios was, from an early age, taken with the stories of battle and war, and tales of heroism and valour that those Heroes who were committed to legend.

Pistalexios was also sensitive to the low stature of his House, and despised that. He swore to become a legend and be remembered through the ages of ages.

Unable to deal with the familial pressure of joining the Army of Itorunt, Pistalexios left the East Continent for Atamara. There, he became a Knight in the service of the Kingdom of Carelia, during the wars against the Alliance of Carelia-Redspan-Abington. He served well during his time then, becoming noted for his bravery in battle and his temper, which was rather short.

These wars led to a declaration of war between the Kingdom of Carelia and the Cagilan Empire; Pistalexios threw himself into the fighting uncaringly. It was during one of these battles that he was wounded: a Cagilan axeman managed to lop off a portion of his left shoulder/upper arm. It was from this that he gave himself the moniker 'The Asymmetrical'.

So it came, four years after his arrival in Carelia, Pistalexios was killed fighting a rearguard action against vastly superior Cagilan Empire forces. He and his men were wiped out to the last.

...Carelia, it is true, is a land of Heroes. The people are hardy and disciplined, if a bit merciful. I feel that it is here that I will see my dream of legend fulfilled...

-Pistalexios in a letter to his younger sister, Kesaria. He was killed not long after.

Unfortunately, his dreams of legend were dashed; despited heated oaths that his sacrifice was not in vain, within a few months his name was forgotten.
