Long time ago, when Rancagua was still one piece, a smith in the badlands of Pedrera, an old simple but also wise man, was known to create the best armour in the whole realm.

The King back then, I don't remember who it was, a greedy though and powerhungry man who wanted to rule forever, visited him and asked him what armours Rancagua would someday need so it will be safe of all its enemies. Whatever it would be, the smith should create it for him.

The smith laughed and told him "My King! Not simply armours will ever keep the enemies away from our realm! There are the men that carry these armours that are the armours what you are searching for!"

The King looked irritated. "The men? What do you mean?"

"My King, no armour can protect Rancagua from its enemies but certain men, certain men, the finest of the finest, that live in this realm can protect Rancagua. They have all values of our realm in their hearts. They are the true prides that can protect our realm from all evil!" the smith answered.

"But how can I find these men? Where are they?" the King asked.

"There are out there. Maybe even more near than you think. But I will not let you leave just with this advice. Come again in 30 days from now when the moon is full to the port at the shore of Pucallpa. I will have there a better answer for you." the smith told the King and the King left the smith's workshop.

One month later, the King came to the port of Pucallpa, the lovely townsland near the golden City of Oroya. The smith was already waiting there at the port in a big ship that was ready to leave the port.

"My King, please enter and come with me. I shall give you the answers you need. We will have to sail though to another place, a secret place, the only place that can give answers. In 2 days we shall arrive." the smith said and the King entered the ship.

They sailed for 2 days and and 2 nights to the west before they arrived early in the morning of the third day at an island. The island was big, but it looked very unfriendly. Almost the whole island consisted of a volcano which spit fire and ashes and made the sky look dark and filled the air with smoke and ash. It was the island on the north shore of the East Continent, an island of many secrets and legends in all cultures and people of the continent and of which the name has been forgotten. Even the mighty King was scared and asked his smith what they were doing now here. "My King," the smith said and pointed only to the volcano and added nothing more.

A few hours later the smith led the King on a stony path up towards the volcano. It ended finally at the entrance of a natural cave where the smith told the King to enter and follow him closely. The King was really not excited about all this but followed the smith. They lighted two torches and proceeded into the cave. After some minutes they arrived in a dark room, which seemed to be huge. The smith advised the King to wait a bit and went into the dark alone. Soon the King didn't see the smith's figure in the dark anymore, just the light of the torch that got smaller and smaller while the smith continued his way through the darkness.

Suddenly, the King heard an sound like a small explosion. It must have been done by the smith and the King could hear from the echo that the room must have been huge. Suddenly, one after one he could see torches getting lighted up presenting this way slowly the immense size of the room, better to say the hall.

"Welcome to my secret workshop, my King!" the smith said loudly. "I hammer here the best armour that you can find in the whole cntinent. The volcano provides excellent material and some people say the weapons made out of it have magic powers. But why have I brought you here? I have created the answer to your problem."

The smith takes the King to a large stonetable where he has put a sheet over it. Quickly he takes the sheet off the table and presents the King 10 swords. "Here my King, I have created 11 swords for you! I have made 11 swords, 11 swords made for 11 different kind of men, 11 swords where each represents 1 value of Rancagua. These swords my King, are the best swords I have ever made. These swords are to be given to the true men of Rancagua who represent the same values of the swords. My King, nothing is so powerful than having these swords to protect Rancagua so choose wisely who you give them to! If your choice is right, the sword will speak the truth by starting to glow. If they don't glow, the man is not worth of carrying it. Remember each sword represent its own value and therefore only the man who represents the same value can carry it. Remember my words when you decide!"

"I thought they are 11 swords, smith?! I can see only 10 here." the King asked confused.

"Yes my King, 10 for your men and 1 for you. One sword which leads the others, one sword which represents all other 10 values in one, one sword that only a King worth of Rancagua can carry. It is the sword Glinluin. It is glowing blue when it is used and carried beside the other swords and it is stronger than any other sword that has been made on this continent." said the smith and held Glinluin near the others. Glinluin started to glow blue, a wonderful cold blue.

"Here take it, my King and may you be the right man to carry such a sword." the smith said and gave the sword to the King. Greed and hunger for power filled the King's eyes and thoughts about the options that would appear now with such weapons filled his evil mind.

Suddenly, the earth began to tremble and the room got hit by several explosions. A fissure opened under the King and the King fell into it and got engulfed by the volcano. The volcano had spoken. The King was not the right man to carry the sword and it was never again heard by him or the mysterious smith."

The 10 and 1 swords were finally found by Fuinur, who sailed to the island in order to bring them back to the lands of Rancagua and hand them to the best nobles of the realm who represent the swords' values. And the story continues....
