Kazakh Resists
October 27, 1011

As we are sure it comes to no surprise, the capital city of Kazakh resisted yet another TO attempt by Obsidian Islands. This has since been dropped again, as the Islanders have moved on to the region of Gadlock, once again starting a TO in the region.

Kazakh, Oroya, Sacked
October 25, 1011

What is it that the Sultanate of Asena has left? Some priests? Both of their cities have been hit, hard, by either Sirion alone or by a combined effort of Sirion and Obsidian Islands. With a new take over going on in Kazakh, started earlier today, what is it they think they can hold onto? Hope that Sirion will just walk away? Not going to happen. Hope that they can move their capital to Oroya and continue their efforts from there? Then the question becomes, what are they waiting for? Kazakh to fall? Waiting for Sirion to occupy Oroya again and try rebuilding that way?

Kazan Rebuilding
October 25, 1011

Repairs in Kazan are going better everyday and the region slowly integrates with the rest of the Islands. At first they where scared, they did not wish to start becoming part of the realm as they did not wish for SoA to come back in and start punishing them. As repairs and relief efforts continue to come in from the Islands, namely the Kalmar duchy, more and more are starting to come around. Many are no longer scared to leave their homes and are starting to embrace the Islander culture. As more realize they do not need to live in fear, they are becoming happier and more productive then ever.

Gadlock Retaken
October 25, 1011

In short, the region was taken in a short time considering the TO, method, looting and so on. After a couple days in the region, a small SoA army attacked Kazan. They couldn't even start a TO, or do any damage, so once the TO in Gadlock finished, the OI army moved and completely destroyed the SoA army in the region. Right after the battle a priest from SoA moved into Gadlock, using the faith to retake the region.

Gadlock Falls
October 14, 1011

After a few days of a take over, Gadlock has fallen to Obsidian Islands forces. For the first time in history Obsidian Islands has more of a foothold on the mainland then just Kazan. This now leaves the Sultanate of Asena is a very bad situation as well, as their capital sits alone, their second city sieged an their other regions revolting or falling apart. One has to wonder where the nobles will move to from here, once their realm falls. One must wonder, what is their future plans, once the realms falls? Well, only time will tell, and though enemies, we wish them all the best.

SoA Moves
October 14, 1011

With a small army, the Sultanate of Asena has moved into Kazan. It seems, more or less, like a useless move. They moved into the region, taking down a few units, and overall doing no damage. What are they trying to do? They can't take the region, they aren't looting the region...so whats the point? Well I guess during desperate times they call for desperate measures.

Expanding, Keeping?
October 14, 1011

Ibladesh seems to be showing an upswing again. They have retaken Al Aquabah and Leibo now. This is a very good sign for the realm that has a few victories and lost a lot so far. They have a long way to go but this is a step in the right direction. Now...where are Perdan and Caligus? Guess some reports will be coming in soon of another huge battle, the question is, where will it be.

A Second Fall
October 14, 1011

With Gadlock under take over by Obsidian Islands, with Kazakh in ruins...now Oroya is under siege as well. A very large Sirion force marched into the city, crushing the defenses, and starting bringing the city down very quickly. It is reported the city is already showing signs of revolt as well.

A New Move
October 14, 1011

After a couple of new take over attempts in Kazakh, the army of Obsidian Islands has moved on to Gadlock. With the Sultanate of Asena having nearly no army, no walls, no income...it is looking like it's all coming to a close for them.

A New TO
October 8, 1011

With Sirion troops firmly in control of Kazakh, the Obsidian Islands are moving troops back into the city again, with the intent of taking the city from the control of the Sultanate of Asena. Will the capital fall? Well of course, it's just a question of who will it fall to. Obsidian Islands? Revolt against everyone and declare independence (rogue) status? We should know with in a week (hopefully!).

Kazakh Falls Again
October 7, 1011

Ok just as repeating the fall of Kazan, repeating the fall of Kazakh is getting a little...well old as well. It would seem that once again Sirion has marched into Kazakh and once again beaten the Sultanate of Asena on the field (granted SoA had level 1 walls). One would think it's about time to move the capital to Oroya and maybe live for a little while longer.

Leibo Taken
October 5, 1011

It would seem that Leibo has once again been taken by Ibladesh forces. A couple of wins, a new region under control, things seem to getting better in and for Ibladesh and it's armies. We can't forget that many of their regions are in horrible condition, and the cities are starving but still, any kind of light beats no light at all.

Rebellion in Westmoor!
October 2, 1011

Ok well, guess this isn't such as surprise. Westmoor seems to go through a rebellion every couple of months, if not less. Will they ever find a leader that the nobles won't rebel against, or protest out of office? Well at any rate we wish them all the best and hopefully they can find a ruler for them all to agree upon or at least not revolt against.

Perdan Speaks
October 2, 1011

Ok, first question of three. The recent campaign you managed to burn down this once great city of Semall. However at the same time your army lost a huge battle to Ibladesh is Woolton, while losing control of two regions - Al Aquabah and Clermont. How do you view the overall outcome of this portion of the war (obviously the war as a whole so far has gone nearly 100% perfect for Perdan)?

Everything goes on as planned. Ibladesh has lost against Perdan since the start of this war Castle Ubent, Ar Mosul, Clermont, Al Zarqua, Zawr, Nimraw, Al Aquabah and its puppet ally, the Diocese of Aix. Territorial losses against Caligus excluded. Perdan has doubled its size. I don't see anything at the moment which could change this trend.

Second of three, it is rumored that Ibladesh has been losing not only regions in great numbers but nobles as well, do you feel this will make Ibladesh an easier enemy to defeat or a more active, harder army to defeat?

You must see both sides of the coin here. Yes, your theory can be correct. On the other hand, those who will stay in Ibladesh are the determined fanatics. That means that their ressources will be used better and they will be more compact. It is not bad when they have more troops which are less reliable in battle. So no, I don't think it will be easier. On the other hand, I never saw it as difficult.

Third of three, so far against Ibladesh, Caligus has lost several times since the start of the war, more they have won to say the least. What do you think they can do to start winning battles and keep winning battles, if anything?

Caligus has my respect, Ibladesh focussed on them after we killed DoA and killed Ibladesh's army multiple times. Ibladesh made the a choice to fight one of its enemies more determined, and that is Caligus. The new Pladin Primus tried now to fight both armies with full force, that's why you saw that surprising battle report from Woolton. We will adapt to this, but I am not worried to get out of my schedule.

Added later on - Woolton also a lost region.
