Little is recorded of the common adventurer known only as Stigandr. City records in Makar indicate that he was probably born outside the city proper to a peasant family. Beyond a few facts about his birth, he appears occasionally, and sometimes by name, in the reports of lesser lords and nobles who employed him to rid their lands of the undead and monsters that escaped the notice of the realm's army. He appears to have at least been competent in this work as he was always paid for his services and was frequently reused by certain nobles who found his services acceptable.
