Noble Family/Remorse
The oldest surviving member of the Noble family, Remorse left the family mansion as soon as he was able to strike out on his own. Taking a ship on the docks and not even caring where it ended up Remorse found himself arriving in Perdan with little idea of what life had in store for him. After his arrival Remorse was very active in the realm. Beginning as a Knight and quickly moving up the ranks to become a Cavalier and eventually the battle group commander of the Perdan Strike Force, also known as the Praetorian. Shocking many of his fellow nobles, and to the dismay of his parents, one day Remorse stepped down from his post, traded his sword for a dagger and slipped into the shadows to become an Infiltrator.
Since that time little has been known about Remorse's deeds on the East Continent but it is rumored that Remorse fancies himself as a chef and has a love for potatoes. Traveling all across the East Continent from Sirion City to Fontan City and Al Arab he was seen sharing his passion. What can be verified is that Remorse made a point share his love of potatoes with those in both Avamar Selective and Kalmar Islands preparing some very nice potato recipes for the judges and nobles of those realms. No word yet on how the critics have enjoyed the meals. Alas, as things often do, Remorse's life has recently come full circle. Picked up in Lukon on false charges he was sent back to the East Continent by Faith, Arch Priestess of Lukon, Baroness of Narrowdep. Finding himself back home after so many years away Remorse looked forward to getting reconnected with old friends and repaying some old favors.
Believing war would soon erupt on the East Continent and unable to be as useful with bans on his head, Remorse left Perdan for the South-East to spend some time with friends in Ikalak. Hopeful that those who had put bans on him forgot about their anger while he was away. While in Ikalak Remorse made a point to spread the word of the tasty goodness of potatoes and was quickly settling. However, soon after arriving a message came to him from his brother Fenrisulf. The letter spoke of the situation Fenrisulf had left behind in the Colonies and requested his help in the defeating Alowca's enemies and bringing about the destruction of Oritolon. Since his arrival in the colonies Remorse has been seen planting potatoes in the lands of Lukon and Oritolon and has been making friends every where he goes. After a few months in the Colonies Remorse was shipped back to the East Continent where he returned home to Perdan. Soon after his arrive he was tasked with the job of finding out the persons responsible for the bounty of 4500 gold on the head of his queen, Evangeline. Following rumors overheard in back rooms of seedy taverns and ally ways Remorse has traveled though Ibladesh, Itorunt, Light of Fountain, and Sirion. Having discovered information that implicated members of Gymnistism in hiring Jorel of Kent Validus to assassinate nobles of Perdan and Caligus Remorse sought an audience with Donna Ragna Wooten. Unfortunately Donna was unwilling to talk with Remorse and in the ensuing argument Donna accidentally fell on Remorse's dagger. Heading south Remorse went after Jorel of Kent next. When Remorse was able to track him down he to was unwilling to speak about who had hired him. Sadly, in this conversation there was a misunderstanding and Jorel of Kent was left crumpled on the floor of a tavern. With his leads exhausted Remorse headed for the region of Sordidus where the last known temple of Gymnistism is standing. There he made contact with a member of the order who has expressed a willingness to help Remorse and provide information to him. Sadly the leads turned out to be too old to be of any use. After several months of frustration Remorse turned to more a more direct approach and went after several high ranking nobles of Ibladesh. After assassinating a royal and getting caught on the way out of her estate Remorse was deported to Beluaterra and joined the realm of Mesh. While in Mesh Remorse set about doing what he could to keep the invasion of the diamons from overtaking his new home. Throwing himself into his new mission Remorse assassinated several diamon priests and generals. However, when Sint went to war with Mesh Remorse turned his attentions away from the diamons and towards a new threat. After getting caught in the shadows and being banned Remorse was picked up while traveling and deported to the Far East. On the docks a messenger caught up with him and delivered the message that Remorse's father was ill and wanted Remorse to return home to settle old arguments. Remorse spent a number of months in Ethiala before a disagreement with the ruling counsel ended with a ban on head so he took refuge for a long spell into the family mansion to care for his father and once his father had recovered settled in the realm of Papania. In his new realm Remorse was quickly recognized and promoted to Lord Commander and then finally to High Lord. His rule has been very controversial and has seen traditional allies and enemies turned around and much of the politics of the island upended.
