Noble Family/Escent
Sitting with his family over dinner, a year past now, Escent's father was rambling on about how his brother, Remorse, had brought shame to the family and it would be better if he was dead. Escent stood up for Remorse and in the argument that ensued hurtful words were exchanged. His father, with venom in his words, declared that Escent was to be cast from his presence, banned from the family estate and to be shunned by all in the house. Apparently if he could not take his anger out on Remorse he was going to take it out on Escent instead.
Taking what little he could with him, and stowing away on a ship, Escent set out earn his life back. Driven to reclaim that which his father has denied him. His nobility. To that end Escent has crossed the sea to Beluaterra seeking out those that can help him in his quest. While he is usually found near Twillen, in Mesh, Escent has been seen in Joppo, Reeds, Ling and even Ossmat.
In a short time Escent has caught the attention of several realms in Beluaterra. Rumors speak of Escent's discovery of the Black Helm of Blood the Bone-Sabre of Daemonslaying and the Blessed Arrow of Betrayal. Additionally, in local taverns people speak of a sage crafting the Elemental Gauntlets for him. Many dismiss these stories as outlandish talk. However, these rumors have been given creditability by sightings of Escent with nobles from Mesh as well as Old Grehk. Apparently he has been trading these items, rumored to be of great value, for their support of him.
While hunting undead in Beluaterra was captured by diamons and after spending five days in the dungeons he was cast out. Fleeing to the sea Escent found passage on a boat to Dwilight. Arriving on the shores of Madina Escent quickly set to earning his place in this new world. Ranging as far north as Pasily and Twainville Escent quickly captured the attention of the nobles by defeating scores of monsters and earning their favor by trading the Fool's Girdle the Glowing Band of Command and the Shiny Helm of Protection for recommendations. On 2008-04-16, at the age of 32, Escent stood before the nobles of Madina and was granted the title of knight and entered into the service of Kolya Ishimu, Lord Court Master of Madina, Duke of Madina.
What skills Escent had acquired in his life stood him in very good steed out in the wild but not so much in the dangerous political circles of noble life and it wasn't long until Escent found himself on the wrong side of a political struggle and banned from Madina after trying to assassinate a high ranking noble and deported.
Atamara was a new land for Escent and he knew very little but he made en effort to settle into a more civilized way of life and learn to fit in with the daily life in high nobility. And he did very well for a while in Talerium and found himself quite respected and enjoy life but the status quo of the old guard nobility, and their refusal to let go of long dead disagreements with other realm on the island lead Escent to once again go against the ruling counsel of the realm. After assassinating several nobles of Talerium Escent was caught and banned and with no hope of finding a home in any of the allied realms Escent headed east to Minas Ithil and it was here that Escent found a place to truly call home. Taken in by Raoul De La Fere , Justiciar of Minas Ithil and Duke of Leohampton, Escent was given a free hand to do what has always come naturally to him. Quickly becoming one of the most successful infiltrators on the Atamara Escent has a large bounty on him because of the many assassinations of nobles in Cagilan Empire, Tara, Norland, and Coria as well as Caergoth and Suville.
