| Crusade against Sandalak, a continued success | |
| Over resent months after the death of the legendary Octimus Macgahee it appeared that all was lost for Ikalak; Loosing multitudes of battles and regions while being helpless to mount a proper offensive, And yet Sandalak still failed to seize the advantage and the one chance to win this war which they have long been loosing. Ikalak, After the death of Octimus was devastated and couldn't gain a official Paladin Primus to lead the armies long enough to begin mounting a come-back Sandalak quickly, through the means of over-whelming numbers and force managed to seize several provinces of Nergals empire.
However Ikalak was not one to get down and stay down, We made a humongous effort on several attacks that cut straight through Sandalak allowing us to beat them several times in important battles (Such as the annexation of the Caves of Guilt and Falens) and reclaim regions such as Lesthem, Kail and Astin; We did briefly own Falens but we allowed Sandalak to retake it while we refitted, Falens quickly rebelled and went rogue after Sandalak occupation. |
| Is Sandalak bursting at the seams? | |
| Sandalak had long enjoyed being a conglomerate of regions held together by brute force but as of recent it appears that the constant brutalization and rise of Nergal has caused the seperation of multiple regions. Nine to be precise : Falens, Kail, Lesthem, Wellaf , Kietrem, Saenna, Eraus, Kheif and Moeth.
Upon questioning of such the accelerated destruction of Sandalak they replied "We could have those regions if we wanted ... we just don 't want to". Sandalak has suffered great economic and geographical set backs over the past two months and Ikalak has reclaimed much of its lost territory but according to Sandalak that doesn't matter. |

| The military of Ikalak has succeeded in its plans to "scythe" Sandalak into two pieces. Due to recent military action the regions of Eraus, Moeth and Falens have all declared independence from Sandalak; The combined work of Kaagami and Teniel plus that of our devoted army have caused the separation of the Taselek duchy from the Sandalak duchy, a brilliant plan to weaken Taselek for a possible attack. As to quote lady Teniel "Never could we have believed this possible even 4 months ago with the death of Lord Octimus and the dark days which followed under Vincent's command. Nergal has blessed her disciples. Let us continue upon our way and force Taselak to go rogue. Then we shall claim it for our own and hammer the final nail into the coffin of the vile Sandie infidels!" |
| Teagen the traitor | |
| In a unbelievable act of treachery Teagen unlawfully organized the surrender of Korlok to Sandalak. Korlok was a vital region to the defence of Ikalak city, a region which many hero's died fighting on most notable Lord Octimus and Lord Alberte. Many battles where played there, all in vian by Teagens Senseless act of betrayel. Region leaves realm (10 days, 18 hours ago)
Teagan Albanezia, Marquis of Korlok, Marshal of the Army of Nergal has changed the allegiance of his region Korlok to the duchy of Sandalak, which is part of Sandalak. The region and all its knights and troops have therefore left your realm. Teagens letter "Report from Teagan (10 days, 18 hours ago) Message sent to everyone in your realm (26 recipients) Nobles of Ikalak, It is with a heavy heart that I have negotiated the surrender of Korlok. I will continue to administer the region of Korlok under Sandalak rule and look forward to the day when our armies return to liberate the region. I will try to keep the region in good condition in expectation of our armies return. Woefully" |
| Fortress in Toren Stronghold | |
| Dictator (Duke) Xaphan Vanimedle recently announced that he had finished construction of a fortress in Toren stronghold. The creation of a fortress in Toren had long been sought but denied due to the time and gold required but in a recent lull in the fighting (Sandalak licking its wounds) Xaphan saw it fit to build a humongous Fortress. The effort to create such a structure took little under 1,400 gold coins and the mass use of Squirrel slavery. Toren Stronghold has never been attacked by Sandalak in at least two years because of the impressive defenses in play but with the construction of the new fortifications the thoughts of attacking TS will still be just a pipe-dream for Sandalak. |
