Ragnar Metsamees

Ragnar

Brown haired, green eyed, Ragnar, eldest son of Raimond and Aurora.

Ragnar is physically as strong as his father was at his age, if not stronger. And under his fathers tutelage Ragnar has learned the usage of many weapons. His favorite being a gigantic blade which as is custom he made himself. Ragnar also had learned martial arts, herbalism, blacksmithing, woodsmanship and other wisdom that are passed down from generation to generation. Mentaly Ragnar is a calm person, hard to anger and quick to calm down. Similar to his father in that respect aswell. But unlike his father who always acts by his logic, Ragnar half the time acts by his instincts. Makeing him more unpredictable and chaotic, thinking ahead half the times and acting on impulse the other half. Nor is Ragnar as solitary person as his father, but both of them do share the similar fondness of nature.

At the age of 16 Ragnar ventured to the wider world inorder to become a stronger and mightier, quite similar to what his father did in his youth. Striving to become a honorable and mighty warrior Ragnar joined the realm of Ibladesh, on the East Islands, as a knight and warrior.

Once when Ragnar part took a tournament, he found a injured squirrel. Nurturing it back from the brink of death, the squirrel was reluctant to leave, and thus Ragnar made himself a pet who usually either sleeps inside Ragnars shirt, or sits on his shoulder or head. Ragnar named him Ratatoshk (Rata in short), and at times even took him to battles, thus far Ratatoshk has made no kills nor has suffered any wounds.

Over the course of time, Ragnar became the second in command of a elite squad, called The Army of Ramsus Protectors. And rose to the position of marshal of the said army.

The Cabal

All the while ever since the start of his service his personal army had always remained under the banner of ARP bearing the name of Cabal. Amongst them some old time veterans, 7 men plus 1 who have served Ragnar since the beginning of his career, and two highly skilled healers.

Wulf: Ragnars captain, a strong warrior who rarely gets wounded, yielding a shield and a spear.
Agon: A boozer, who grows his beard for a hobby, though is a seasoned warrior, usually yielding a flail and a shield.
Brimheim: A wannabe-berserker, though physically quite small and not all that strong, when he flyes in to a berserking frenzy (which he often does at camp not in combat) he becomes annoying and noisy as well. Often earning a beating from others, still in combat he is skilled with a sword and more than makes up for his lack of brute strength with accuracy and agility. He is also responsible for most of the mischief, most renowned trick he played was setting Agons prized beard on fire, and getting beaten half dead for it by Agon.
Borongar: A uncouth man who shuns armor and weapons, tends to go to battle naked and unarmed, though Ragnar disciplined him in to using atleast a loincloth, since his morale decreasing properties affected friendly troops aswell as enemy troops. Despite him not using any weapons he seems proficient unarmed, but does get wounded alot, but never quite makes it to the grave.
Elias: A young warrior who got wounded almost in every battle in the start of his service, his body littered with scars. His lack of luck is awe inspiring, as is his regenerative abilities, He has survived some wounds most would die from. His favorite weapon a broad axe.
Hanmir: A mute warrior usually yielding dual swords, and keeping to himself. He also yields many musical instruments and is quite refined with a accordion, bagpipes and violins.
Mad-Max: A mad man who claims to be in his 20s, but has gray hair, and his face cant really be seen from behind his facial hair. He often speaks in rhymes and on philosophical topics mostly, and often engages in conversations with the trees and other random objects. And in battle fights like a mad man with the strength of a mad man, rarely but at times cuts down one or two of the newer recruits whos face he dosnt remember at the time (dosnt comprehend banners and insignias on armor or weaponry). Yields a spear and a short sword as a secondary weapon.

Ratatoshk: Ragnars best friend, a squirrel who often comes accompanies Ragnar to battle on his shoulder, though not contributing much to the fight. Ragnar does claim to be able to communicate with Ratatoshk, and Ratatoshk has proven useful as a pickpocket and a distraction, both in and out of battle, also as a inconspicuous and trustworthy scout.

Sui & Cid: Healer siblings, Sui being the elder sister and herb expert, Cid being the younger brother and the surgeon. The duo has almost spotless record. All who crawl in to theyr tent sick or dieing, also crawl out of there, more or less healthy and alive. Ragnar has learned alot from those two, as has he teached alittle back though mostly about the knowledge of herbs from Atamara, Ragnars clans homelands. The duo is highly regarded and appreciated among the troops, aswell as by Ragnar himself, thus earning them much highe wages as any other healers.

Death

The death of Ragnar came about early in his age. His pursuit of strength and power drove him from battles to duels, back to battles. He had been wounded severely, broken many ribs and a his left hand, yet even that did not stop him from going to duels. His last duel being against Morgana, queen of Itorunt. He had dueled her once before, and on theyr second duel Morgana had learned from the last fight and over came Ragnar by delivering a blow to Ragnars neck. Though it wasnt all that powerful it did sever his arteries and caused Ragnar to bleed to death.
