Jonsu delved deep into an ancient ruin far below the surface of the South Divide. Ancient runes told of a terrible evil held within, and many wights served the terrible Bane Wraith that lived within. The Wraith was all that remained of a powerful Sorceror and Assassin who terrorized the pre-civilized peoples of Dwilight, known simply as Mizr. The beast was as shadow, but could take the form of its opponent's most cherished friend, lover, or family member.

Jonsu fought tooth and nail, slaying the wights, only to find her blade could not harm the wraith. Desperate, Jonsu fought on, and as she felt her strength leaving her, she recalled a tale she had once dismissed, told to her by a wizened sage. She rolled, and ran, reaching frantically into her bag until she found what she needed... A small mirror. As the wraith approached to finish her, she caught its reflection in the mirror, its image of its true self... And plunged her blade into its reflection, ending the beast.

The Mediocre Helm tumbled out of the dissolving shadow, and Jonsu claimed the inconspicious looking helm. She took it to a sage, who unlocked the power within. Unassuming, the Helm causes those who wear the viewer to forget they ever saw the wearer, rendering them nearly invisible. A true boon to those who wish to remain hidden.
