Sorsha looked out at the waters with a thoughtful expression. A gust of wind lifted to carry her long dark brown hair away from her tanned oval face. Her light blue eyes were outlined with a deep green shade, adorned with a rare speck of violet. As a child she had been teased for her rare eyes, but as she grew with age, she came to realize no one would ever be able to claim the same distinctive rarity. Her full lips smiled and she took a calming breath.

With a bit of sadness she was leaving the past behind, her family and everything she had ever known, but was now eagerly hopeful for a bright new future.
