Little is known about this Longsword besides it's apparent connection to Ypsilanti, though the importance of this escaped the swords former owner, Count Revan the Younger. This weapon first fell into the hands of the nobility in the earlier stages of the Third Daimon Invasion of Beluaterra and was sold to Revan by the adventurer, Lilith.
The Legendary Longsword of Ypsilanti stands out in comparison to other blades as a result of the ruby encrusted hilt and the peculiar engravings that cover the entire length of the blade. The hue of the blade also appears to subtly change each time it is carried through woodland territory, as though it knows where it's true homeland might lie. Revan never understood the significance of this however, and instead only found himself breaking out into goosebumps every time it occurred.
