Kinsey Family/Francis
Francis Adams was the younger brother of Enri.
A restless, impish boy in his youth, his family had wanted him to join the priesthood, where he would hopefully lose his more impulsive tendencies. However, after the older family members where unable to come to agreement over the family's "official" religion, they took up his brother Enri's recommendation, and Francis was sent to fight for Minas Ithil.
While in Minas Ithil, Francis fought in many battles in their war against Norland, and rapidly ascended the ranks, gained honor, and was outpacing even his older brother in fame and accolades. He was even made the General of the realm during one glorious campaign, during which time saw Minas Ithil gradually taking over an entire duchy from Norland. However, Francis overextended his armies and Minas Ithil was eventually beaten back by the combined efforts of the Barony of Makar and Norland. The Ithilian King relieved Francis of his Generalship.
Francis's loyalty was tested when Minas Ithil declared war against the Cagilan Empire in support of their ally Falasan. As the armies marched to war, his Liege and his King asked him to join in the fight. His brother wrote to him and demanded that he abandon the realm. After much soul searching, Francis decided to take a middle way, and excused himself from military duty on the front lines.
For weeks, Francis stayed behind in the interior regions, fending off the occasional Norland raid and Monster/Undead infestations, and drowned his sorrow in ales and wines. However, just when he has decided to re-join the war effort, his father had him abducted and thrown on a ship headed for Beluaterra.
On Beluaterra, Francis served Enweil for a time, quickly ascending to the position of being the Lord of Cjelorg as well as the Marshal of the Enweilieos Army. While there, he developed a taste for Daimon hunting as he assisted in the cleansing one of the dwindling number of Daimon nests on the continent.
Francis quickly grew bored, however, Enweil was at peace and war did not seem to be breaking out any time soon. It was at this time that he received a letter from Enri, offering him reconciliation with the family, and informing him of a new realm that was soon to be formed on Dwilight, which is dedicated to fighting the growing Daimon presence on the untamed continent.
His mind filled with visions of glory, Francis set sail again, voluntarily this time, and became a noble in the realm of Ordenstaat.
After a while, Francis grew bored and restless again. Ordenstaat was too poor to outfit him with a military unit, and Francis feared that his skills were stagnating. So, he journeyed east and joined the realm of Grand Duchy of Fissoa, where he had frequent occasion to practice his swordsmanship against the native Monsters.
When the Grand Duke of the Grand Duchy of Fissoa disbelieved his testimony during a dispute over honor, Francis became furious that his word of honor was not taken for its true worth. He presented evidence that proved his testimony, and left the realm.
He went on to serve in D'Hara, where he quickly rose in ranks again, and were eventually elected to the positions of the Duke of Port Raviel, and the Ruler and General of the realm. His friends praised him for outdoing even his older brother, the famed General Enri.
Francis Adamas was killed in a battle against a sizable Monster horde, during an one-on-one duel with an Alpha Monster Lord. This battle occurred inside the territory of Terran, where Francis was helping his realm's allies with rogue eradication efforts. Thus Francis was brought down at the height of his power and influence. Let this be a lesson to us all: Death spares neither the righteous nor the powerful.
