Once you have achieved the positions as judge there are a few new things that you will be able to do. Most of them deal with deciding what happens when someone breaks the laws of your realm or how prisoners are dealt with.

Step down - In case you can no longer do your duties or you no longer want to.

Edit the Judge Bulletin - edit the explanation of the laws and how those who break them will be dealt with. Or what other information you have to tell them as the judge.

Define the laws - Determine what the laws of the realm will be. Determine what actions legal or not and who will be notified when a law has possible been broken. There are four main areas for laws they are: looting, duels, founding new religion, and spell casting.

Impose a penalty - Fine someone belonging to your realm for breaking a law or for some other transgression.

Banish someone - If someone in you realm did something really bad or if a fine was not enough then you have the power to ban them.

Review and edit bans spoken previously - See what people have been banned before in the realm and for what crimes. You will also have the option of lifting the ban.

Visit the dungeons to talk to or exchange prisoners - Deal with nobles who are not of you realm and have been put in Prison for breaking the law or some other action against your realm.

Hold Court - You have the same ability to hold court as a region lord has. The difference is that as Judge you can do it in any region of your realm. It is important to not that there can be only one court session per turn so you will might want to work out with the region lord who will be holding court if you are both in the area.
