Audax had been chasing traces from dawn, and hunting several spread parties of monsters in the woods of Pahk. After the last encounter, it was clear to him that a small horde was hidden somewhere within the Northleem stream and a rock mass near the lands that surround Fheuvenem. He kept on advancing carefully through the slight path opened in the broken bushes by the monsters, and finally spotted them.

They had set a small camp, if some fires, leathers and piles of rotten meat spread in an open space of the forest could be called so. By the equipment he saw there were at least two dozens using that camp, but at that moment only five or six were guarding it. He quickly estimated his possibilities and decided to launch an attack .

He stretched the string of his bow silently, and a glimpse later two of the wretches laid down on the floor. Audax then jumped with his sword ready to drink his enemies' blood; his blows were well-aimed, but suddenly he noticed there was something strange. Some sounds from several directions told him the rest of monsters were close... A trap!

Certainly, they had detected the adventurer some time before, and attracted him to the open field while some of them waited in cover. Audax was quickly surrounded and found himself fighting to save his life. He had taken down one of the wretched monsters when a big and ugly one advanced as a berserker towards him. With barely no time to react, he jumped towards his enemy pushing his sword with his body; the chieftain was skewered skilfully. When the rest of monsters saw their boss deadly wounded, felt panic and ran away, leaving the camp.

After resting a moment, Audax started to register the camp. He had not much time, as mosters would sooner or later return and fight to rule the party; but among useless junk he found a small chest, finely carved. A golden shine blinded him momentarily when he opened it, he had discovered the Edited Honed Collection of Awakening!

Off the beaten path leading from Seven Rivers to Fronepu, Yigna grew weary of the long journey. She had fought skeletons and monsters all day and fatigue was catching up to her. She sat down to rest under a sycamore tree. Closing her eyes when something fell into her lap from the branches above. It was a book whose golden shine blinded her momentarily when she opened it - it was the Honed Collection of Awakening! Reading through its pages, Yigna felt a weight lifted from her and a weightlessness to her step. She continued her journal with nary another moment's delay with new eyes and re-awakened spirits.

Sitting in a dimly lit tavern, without a doubt, was Bastion's choice position for gathering the latest gossip and news. Inevitably there would be something - a rumor, a sighting, someone drinking away the sorrow of an eaten goat. This night was no different than the rest, save for the regular hoopla celebration filling the bar with dissonant noise. It wasn't long before Bastion was forced to share his table with a stranger. The man was weathered like old paper, hungrily tearing and gnawing on his stale bread. "Utterly disgusting." thought Bastion.

It was a few short moments after the stranger left that Bastion noticed the bag left in the chair. Checking carefully to ensure that nobody -least of all the stranger- was nearby, Bastion reached across the table and lifted the bag back to him. Opening up the flap, Bastion saw the unmistakable aura of golden light gaze back at him. He recognized this- it was... ...the Honed Collection of Awakening!

Bastion shut the flap and stuffed the bag into his own belongings. "Finders, Keepers..." he thought, smirking to himself and calling for another round.
