History

Much of this family's history is lost to the mists of time. However what is known for fact is that the current family name is not the original name. Of the circumstances that caused the family to lose its original name little is known but a summary of the events as it is believed to have happened is shown below.

The making of Hellfire

The family that becamse the hellfire family were a honourable and just family in the first ages of the world, sending it's son's and daughter's into the world to fight in the defence of those that couldn't defend themselves. However as the ages came and went, the family began to grow gready and selfserving, it is not known why the family turned some theory's say that it was because of demonic influence more likely however say that it was simple human greed. Eventually however, the ruler of their realm could no longer sit back and watch this family ddisgrace themselves any more and led an delegation to the family home.

On their way to the disgraced family they were ambushed by a large group of undead, they couldn't hold them alone and sent a messenger to request help of the family. When he arrived he was met with a grim sight, the family home was in ruins and he could see bodies on the ground none of them moving. Thinking the undead had hit there first, he resolved to search the building looking for survivers. As he entered the building he knew something was wrong, by the look of the damage it looked as if the undead had come from inside the building but that would mean someone let them in. As he entered the reception hall he found the truth, the current leader of the family was a necromancer. "Bloody hellfire!" the messanger exclaimed. With this he drew he sword and lunged impaling the once noble man with his blade. With the death of the necromancer the undead returned to their natural state and the ruler was safe though annoyed. When he arrived at the family home he discovered a single surviver locked away in the vaults with the family gold. In the confruntation that followed the family was stripped of their name, their land and their precious gold. As the ruler decided on the new family name the messanger came to the ruler and was still exclaiming "Bloody Hellfire!" With this the ruler smiled and said "Hellfire I like it."
