Early History
Leonard is and has always been fascinated by religion and strong drinks. In the early age of seven, Leonard stole his first cup of wine from his father. He had to stay in bed for three days after drinking it. His father had always liked strong wine. After the massive hangover had subsided, Leonard's father yelled at the little boy for two and a half hours, making Leonard feel as though the hangover had come back. He was so sorry that he became sick. Of course his sister used this episode against him for stealing her doll. Suddenly there were small notes all over the manor. They all read 'Leonard's an f***ing alchoholic!'. Of course the parents didn't see this as funny at all and blamed Renal. Little Renal was to live in the stable untill he'd stopped cussing. A year past and Leonard didn't touch any more alchohol. Then, at the age of 8, Leonard started asking the local priests all kinds of funny questions. All of them were about religion. This time his father sent him to RedSpan to learn of thier religion. Leonard stayed in RedSpan until he was 16. When he returned home, his parents were shocked. He didn't look like a noble. He wore quilt, had a long beard and was incredibly filthy. He told everyone who'd listen about how strange the RedSpan culture was and that he'd much rather pray to a goat than a dragon. He also smelled of beer. Soon the family had to accept him as he was for we was not changing. He refused to take baths, he drunk tremendous amounts of beer and ale and shouted about herecy at anyone wearing pants. Once the local guards hauled him back home and demanded the family to pay the fine of 128 gold for provoking the guards, stealing ale from the tavern and starting a huge brawl that had about the same effect as a raiding party of giants. At the age of 20, he travelled back to RedSpan to start his military career. He was met with a different RedSpan that what he'd left, however. He saw a RedSpan of hairy and smelly glory! He saw temples for Da Goat all over the place and every other building was a tavern. He'd come to paradise. He spent a few years inhaling the smelly glory of RedSpan before signing up with the army.
Death
Evening, 3rd of July 2006. Leonard led a small assault on the entire Taran army in Tandsu. He was expecting double the forces to move out, but they didn't, thus he was reduced to lead an army half the size of the enemy's in a hopeless attempt to weaken thier forces. The ensuing battle was a catastrophe. The RedSpanian and few Abingon forces were slaughtered, resulting in the deaths of two herores, one being Leonard. Typical for him to die in a very minor battle, but his reputation changed the battle. Songs changed the battle from a minor slaughter to an epic battle where the RedSpanians fought to the last man against overwhelming forces of Taran monsters. In reality, the RedSpanian forces routed after just an hour or two, loosing due to bad planning and too much confidence.
The day after, Leonard was buried and one of his many kids took up his sword, saddled his old goat and rode out with a unit of cavalry to have some fun on the battlefield for herself.
