Elemental Aegis

The Elemental Aegis was found by one Ms. Elizabeth Norrel, an adventurer of the East Islands.

Elizabeth Norrel stepped into a clearing in the woods she had been searching for the past few hours- and noticed something strange. An entire warband of monsters looked up at her in surprise, and grinned, baring their ugly teeth. Among them was an alpha, who had some unfortunate peasant in it's mouth at the time. Elizabeth would have been disgusted, but it was the time for action. She drew her sword, screaming, and threw herself into the fray, killing monsters left and right, until none were left but the champion, who remained to the side during the battle, picking peasant out of it's teeth. It stumbled up to her, and took a massive swing with it's broad arms. She dodged, and countered, striking it upon the arm, but this only made it angry. Over an hour later, Elizabeth stood over the corpse of the monster, covered in blood and gore- most of it not her own. When she searched the encampment, she discovered something that would change her life forever. Among the golden pieces littered about the floor, a large Aegis could be found. It was made of silver, with golden trimming, and had paintings of four symbols upon it- a tree, a bird, a sailboat, and a volcano. She touched her palm to it, and it seemed to positively glow at her touch. It was the Elemental Aegis.
