Traits of Basilius: Strength, Leadership, Humility
Basilius is arguably the strongest member of the Decimus Family. From a young age the hero would always accept challenges with unfair odds, always emerging victorious. Tales and songs have been written of the hero Basilius and his victories. Unlike others, Basilius refuses to order his men into battle and watch from the sidelines. He eats with his men, camps with them, and when the time for battle approaches, he is on the frontlines with them.
Apart from his physical abilities, Basilius is renown for his loyalty to his allies once staying behind in enemy territory with only 3 men to protect fallen allies from the onslaught of enemy forces. Not only did Basilius and his men survive the battle and beat off the attacking forces, the managed to hold the area until both the allies had recovered and reinforcements had arrived.
Basilius has served in a number of offices and positions in Fontan most notably as a longstanding General and the last Fontanese Duke of Westmoor. He also served as Chancellor of Fontan, being the one to bring peace and an end to he great War, which ironically he started so many years earlier as General.
Today, Basilius serves as an advisor and Marshal of the Eagle Regiment of Fontan.
Rumors have surfaced that Basilius forms part of the leadership of an elite military tactical force of Fontan, having sworn to protect the realm and its people from all threats regardless of risk or origin, even sacrificing his very life if required.
