Candiels Fields
Vignoble du Domaine royal du Souverain Haut; The royal Vineyards of the High Sovereign's Estate, the Earldom of Candiels Fields.
Candiels Fields is the second region of the Commonwealth, with its administrative, military and economic centre placed in the Chateau Orvandois. It is the gateway to Candiels and to the rest of the Commonwealth, the High Sovereign's Highway runs from the crenellations of Candiels into Candiels fields where it splits into tributary roads to each of the bordering regions and population centres, with the Highway itself cutting through the landscape into Agl and from their, to Evanburg.
The Chateau holds a great history, in the days before Aurvandil of holding back the advance of the Zuma and the endless monster hordes, to being the outer defences of the Imperial City that would birth the Commonwealth. It has been ruled by Earl Reign Beaux since the reconquests of Grand Dogess Florence of the Madina Republic, and it was the second region to declare its allegiance to the High Sovereign and to the Kingdom and Commonwealth of Aurvandil when it was acclaimed. With the neighbouring regions colonised, Candiels Fields was declared to be apart of the High Sovereign's personal estate, and with it, it was agriculturally reformed so that the farmlands were replaced with Vineyards, growing the vast bulk of grapes for Aurvandil's insatiable appetite for fine wine.
