The Black Shield of the "DreadKnight" a long lost title, from a long lost civilisation. The DreadKnight was an honourary title given only to one man. His name is forever forgotten.
The story of the DreadKnight goes that the Blackened King was a harsh ruler, ruling with an iron fist and conquering any who would even think of opposing him. The DreadKnight wore full blackened plate armour and was always the first man onto the battlefield. Some say he single-handedly defeated hundreds of opposing soldiers, and during raids indiscriminately murdered everyone he could find. He was so successful that the Black King grew threatened by his Prestige and set a platoon to kill him, none of the platoon survived. So he sent two, and again none of them survived. Three and still, none survived. Growing ever scared that the DreadKnight would grow ambitious and attempt to take the throne, the king had his house set ablaze while he slept. The King and and his men stood around it as it burn until there was a house there no more. Out of the ashes, walked the DreadKnight, slaughtering all the men and the King, and then walking away to never be seen or heard of again.
