Askileon Purlieus
Historical Description
The Townsland of Askileon Purlieus, surrounds the great silver city of Askileon and stretching along the coast of the northern shore of the Sea of Luries.
Much trade passes through Askileon Purelius into Askileon, making the region self sufficient and wealthy owing to its pivotal connection to the inner sea and the mainland.
The region is well known for its fine Mixed Infantry units and archers; its skilled craftsmen have allowed for the provisioning of numerous militia. The region boasts a superb bureaucratic infrastructure, attracting many visitors from the surrounding regions. The Trade Faire, which occurs once every year have been attracting traders throughout Dwilight, and even nobles have been known to send some servants to inspect the more exotic stalls the region has to offer.
At the Gate Entrence to the Silver City stands a big statue of a female warrior, on the plaque underneath it says: "Dedicated to Queen Alanna Anaris, First of Her Name, Protector of Moon Hall and Hero of Luria Nova. May Her Legacy be Remembered Forever."

Just to inform you of certain laws of my region, Askileon Purlieus that I have put in place as is my right as Lord of the Region. No one may preach there without my express written consent given by letter with a copy sent to the Magistrate, the Duchess of Askileon and the King. Anyone who does I will consider in breach of the Law and be trying to stir up Treason. As punishment I would ask for a hanging though I know not if the Magistrate can do that or not. The Manifest Path and it's Priests have free reign to Preach in Askileon Purlieus. No one else may or I will consider to be breaking the law, as above, without my express written permission. Other priests from other religions may move through my region freely, but if I suspect them of preaching I will consider them breaking the law. It is advisable that a non Manifest Path priest does not spend any amount of time in Askileon Purlieus. Good Day, | |
