Page One
I have now fought the undead on five separate occasions, and still my first encounter with that infernal creature known as a vampyre haunts me to my core. I am beginning this record with an account of it, in the idle hope it will quiet my troubled soul.
I was new to the company of the Opal Griffon. A youth of 15, strong enough to hold a sword but still too ignorant to wield a pen. We had been tasked with hunting a monster that had been plaguing the villagers of Venas.
