House Daubeny is a small and young noble house founded by Erik Daubeny, a Hedge Knight in the service of Lord Selwyn Bloodstone of Valkyrja, though the Lord Bloodstone claimed rulership of the city he did not truly rule the region.

Erik would eventually earn enough gold in the pay of this so called "Lord" that he decided settle down, he would marry a barmaid named Emilia and settle down in the region of Ygg d'Razhuul, He would have two sons and one daughter.

Whilst Erik and his family lived happily in Ygg d'Razhuul, Gerald Daubeny, his brother, would rise into nobility by marrying into a minor noble family called the Blackstones, Once in the line of succession Gerald seizied the opportunity to kill off the old and dying patriarch of the family, with the oldLord's death the title of Lord Blackstone fell to him, he promptly killed the rest of the family excluding his wife, with whom he would sire two children (albeit not willingly), and so House Blackstone Daubeny was formed.

However due to his actions Erik casted Gerald out of the family, claiming him to be a vile and evil man. This would leave the relationship between the two brothers broken.

Marcus, the eldest son of Erik Daubery would lead a militia force against a large orc horde at the age of 17 alongside his father Erik, Marcus would personally slay the Orc War Leader, a great feat for one so young, this would earn his family a Estate in the region and the the rank of Sir for Marcus, who would almost immediately knight his brother, Hervis Daubeny.

Erik Daubery would live a quiet life with his wife until at the age of 60 when he would track down and kill his brother Gerald, who murdered his daughter Seris, the two brothers would both in the end kill each other though Gerald died first, Erik died of his wounds but a few moments later his final words "I will see you again, my daughter".
