If you have any spare hours, you might want to think about the possibility of training your men. Doing this will increase the damage they will be able to mete out in combat. There are three different intensities of training available for your men, and it is up to you to choose which you believe will be most effective to suit your needs. "No damnit! I said step, step, thrust, parry, counter, what you somehow did was step, thrust, step, parry, counter! You've got to listen to me man! Otherwise we'll all end up dead by next month."

You sigh to yourself and take a deep breath, slowly counting to ten. Getting angry wouldn't solve anything. There was a war coming, and if these men weren't ready for it...well, the future wouldn't look bright. Turning to your Lieutenant, you inform him that the training session would be extended for another two hours. You stop his unformed protestation with a glance before he can even get the words out. Eight hours of intensive training would be hard yes, but it was also necessary if they wanted to acquit themselves with any decency on the battlefield.
