Template talk:Mergefrom

I don't want to get into a Revert War, but the coding the "[[Wikipedia:Merging and moving pages|merged]]" link points the user to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Merging_and_moving_pages instead of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Merging_and_moving_pages, as one might assume. This seems to simply be because BattleMaster and Wikipedia are separate projects. It seems more intuitive to point to the main article (as in "[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Merging_and_moving_pages merged]"). What do you think, Gsklee? --Calvin November t/c on 18:09, 7 December 2006 (CET)

And, were is the "div id='mergeto'" defined? --Calvin November t/c on 18:13, 7 December 2006 (CET)

As long as it works I don't care much about the cleanness of the syntax, I just know it's simpler to use than when you were using the old version. -- Gsklee 19:49, 7 December 2006 (CET)
I like clean code. I spend much of my job crawling through other's sloppy code. Clean Code = Happy Code. --Calvin November t/c on 20:05, 7 December 2006 (CET)

The "Discuss" link for both "mergeto" and "mergefrom" templates should probably point to the same place to ease discussion about whether/how to preform the merge. No? --Calvin November t/c on 19:20, 9 December 2006 (CET)

Sounds logical. -- Gsklee 06:02, 10 December 2006 (CET)
