Talk:Terran

Although I started adding real formating to this page, I am not stubborn enough to believe that my way is the only way to do things. I am going to list here how I suggest people proceed. If anyone has a different opinion, please post it here with an explanation (so we may all benefit from your wisdom).

I suggest that the following be added to every page related to Terran: [[Category: Terran]]

That will add a category link to the bottom of the page. The category will act as a natural and automatic "master index" of all Terran pages.

When sections (such as Treaties and Laws) become too long for the main page, I suggest they be moved to an alternate sub-page (such as [[Terran/Treaties]] and [[Terran/Laws]])

This page is still shy on content. I would add more now, but my character is only an adventurer, and does not have access to the realm bulletins.

As always, on a discussion page you should avoid removing what others have said and always sign your name (for example, using "--~~~~") --Slaadslayer 01:22, 30 November 2008 (CET)

Possible sections that could be added

• Code of conduct

Not enforced by law, but expected behavior within the realm

• Fallen Heroes

Many realms have such a section. Some include live heroes as well.

• Notable people, current and past
• Military Hierarchy
• armies and their responsibilities
• Constitution

Holidays

I added a culture and holidays section to the main page, and then it occurred to me that Dwilight has seasons. Each season is supposed to last about 3 weeks, making a full year last about 12 weeks.

I therefore propose that holidays be made relative to the season. The fist day of spring would be an obvious New Year's Day. If a fallen hero was born on the 5th day of Fall, that might become a holiday, and so forth. Just an idea. --Slaadslayer 03:21, 30 November 2008 (CET)
