I came across an "Adventurer" wandering around the Colonies several months ago. Glad to hear this (may) be in the works. Sounds fun. --Calvin November t/c on 16:50, 15 December 2006 (CET)

I saw Tom's own test adventurer awhile ago. Just moments ago I created my own. Thank you Tom!--Eurtek 17:57, 15 December 2006 (CET)

Unable to create adventurer

Just to be sure, you can create an adventurer even if you have your maximum number of characters? Because I have the maximum of three characters, but can't seem to find an option to create an adventurer. -Pizarro 18:04, 15 December 2006 (CET)

Yeah, check your logged-in page. -- Gsklee 18:07, 15 December 2006 (CET)
What exactly am I looking for? It looks the same as before to me. There is no link that says 'create a new character' or something to that extent. -Pizarro
Oh, seems like only open on Beluaterra and FEI for the moment when creating an adventurer. Perhaps this is related. -- Gsklee 18:14, 15 December 2006 (CET)
Some people think the option to create one comes after your family has a certain amount of fame, or time in existance. All I know is my 1.5 month old family with 1 fame cannot send out an adventurer. -Pizarro
What you need to find is a link called Create a new adventurer below the listing of your already existant characters. I have maded one for me, family is 2 years 2 months old, fame 15 (perhaps we can find out the requirements this way...) Van Peteghem 18:22, 15 December 2006 (CET)
I know how to do it, it's just that the option is not there for me. -Pizarro

I've only 3 fame points, but I can create a new adventurer character - Astinus

problem solved: Current limitation: Only Belluaterra and FEI (testing branch) and only those players who've been in the game for > 60 days can create adventurer characters. It's still incomplete and I don't want people who haven't been exposed to BM for a while testing it. --Tom -Pizarro

Timepool

How is time gained? I notice my character didn't get time added to her pool at the turn change but seem to have gained 1 hour somehow. -Gitami

The same as priests, they get one hour every hour instead of the usual 8 at every turn change. -Pizarro

Fatigue

What does fatigue do? I've noticed that it appears and that it can be lowered by resting or sleeping, but what happens if you don't restore your energy? And how much fatigue can you get before that happens? Van Peteghem 18:54, 15 December 2006 (CET)

Maybe too much fatigue lowers you chances to find and kill monsters/undead, or even get you wounded in the process? Perhaps you should try it out and see what happens. -Pizarro
I just went hunting for 'pretty plenties' with 9 fatigue, and got this:
1st hour: You find yourself too tired to concentrate well enough. -PJ
This seems to happen after 12 hours of fatigue. -- Neoro 22:59, 15 December 2006 (CET)
  • If you have 15 fatigue, you cannot hunt. -- Majromax 00:56, 16 December 2006 (CET)
  • Grr, I did a 10 hour journey and got 10 fatigue for it, can't wait 'til I reach the city :) --The1exile 01:19, 16 December 2006 (CET)

on silver pieces

Will they be kept a record of, like say in terms of fractions of gold, or in the inventory?

Emigration

Since adventurers don't get gold, will they be able to pay for emigration? If not, we're going to have a whole lot of them stuck on FEI and Beluaterra seeing as those are the only two available islands for them right now. -Pizarro
