Kudos from this reporter to the King for making an apology.  Drink yourself silly for penance, and perhaps you shall yet avoid Da Smelly One's anger for harassing his people. -''Shamus [[User:Oshea|oshea]] 03:05, 14 March 2007 (CET)''

Note from Malice

13th March, 2007

A note was found in Byblack's temple today by some intoxicated worshippers, apparently left by Malice, King of the Ash Sea Islands. The RedSpan Revealer was unable to verify the authenticity of the letter before this article went to print, but when compared to previous letters written by Malice, it seems to be the real deal. The note read:

Message from Malice (7 hours, 22 minutes ago) (a letter left at the temple in Byblack)

It was never my wish to see looting of any kind take place against RedSpan, or indeed see your places of worship suffer in this conflict. The actions of the few who indulged in this shame us. Malice King of Ash Sea Islands

Looting!

11th March, 2007 ~ Dielo

Reports of tax collecters and wealthy citizens being robbed and attacked by Ashlantean forces reached Stargard this night. This reporter hopes that RedSpan will not choose to sink to the same level of brutality and barbarianism that has now been demonstrated by the Islanders.

Battle in Rogeshore

11th March, 2007 ~ Dielo

The first Ashlantean counter-attack occurred at dawn today in Rogeshore. Thirty-four Islanders and their units met five Redspaniards on the field of battle; fortunately, the majority of Redspan's army had retreated from Rogeshore the turn before. To add to being outnumbered, strong winds blew, giving more favor to the infantry-heavy Ashlantean force. Two Redspanians were wounded.

Statistics for the battle:

ASI:

1057 Troops on the field
35 Casualties

RedSpan:

105 Troops in the field
105 Casualties

More Rogeshore Action

8th March, 2007 ~ Dielo

Today in Rogeshore, a Takeover was initiated by Irthian, Count of Byblack. Two Ashlantean infiltrators, Phanthom and Omega took action against Irthian and Jetti, Marshal of the Drunk, Smelly, Hairy Army of RedSpan, respectively. Fortunately, no one was hurt and both infiltrators are now sitting in Redspan's dungeons.

Battle in Barnlure

8th March, 2007 ~ Dielo

A substantial force of Redspanian soldiers assaulted the region of Barnlure at dusk today. Seven Ashlantean units took up defenses on the palisade. No Redspaniard nobles were injured in the battle, but two Ashlanteans were. A significant amount of damage was done to the fortifications there.

Statistics for the battle:

ASI:

165 Troops on the field
149 Casualties

RedSpan:

468 Troops in the field
108 Casualties

RedSpan At War Again!

5th March 2007

Last night a small force of elite Redspan troops moved silently into the region of Rogeshore. Just an hour before, King Tony had reduced diplomatic relations to ASI to neutral. The elite troops consisting of the King's escort, his High Marshal and many other nobles, battled the skeleton defence force of Rogeshore, which had been reinforced by two nobles during the day. When the battle commenced, the archers of Redspan earned their beer ration, cutting down the militia where it stood. When the archers had had their fun, the infantry and cavalry stormed down the field to engage the remnants of the defenders in close combat.

The defence force, although outnumbered, stood their ground, but were cut down to the last man, with one of the ASI nobles falling under the weight of blows, suffering a serious wound. Dielo, suffered a small scratch on his shoulder, the only noble wounded in the battle on Redspan's side.

Statistics for the battle:

ASI:

82 Troops on the field
76 Casualties

RedSpan:

257 Troops in the field
62 Casualties
