Tara Joins the Attack!

20th June 2007

This morning the walls of Stargard were breached by the attackers. Fresh cannon fodder joined in the attack against the weary Redspaniard defenders. Although defeated, the defenders casued a lot of damage to the aggressors. Now Tara has is moving into the region of Meldeen, with every intention of performing a TO of the region. Hopefully the greed of the Tarans does not get to them.

2000 Dead At The Walls Of Stargard!

19th June 2007

That’s right. Just under 2000 dead bodies were counted at the walls of Stargard by the scribes, all these dead men belong to the four realms that fight Redspan. Redspan herself suffered 1300 dead, but they died defending the capital, gladly sacrificing themselves for the Realm. With over 2700 men lined up against them the forces of Redspan did not believe in victory. But Da One was looking over them and granted them victory this day.

The battle lasted 4 hours and only on the 6th turn of the battle did the assaulting troops manage to get onto the walls. Those that did were cut down in their droves, with their reinforcements struggling to climb the seige engines that had been placed at the walls.

Blood now covers the walls, blood of 4 different nations, most of it comes from CE/Tal/Carelia. Their bodies lie at the foot of the walls. So many that the next wave wont need Siege engines as they can climb on the bodies of their former comrades.

Praise be to Da One! Glory To Redspan

All You Can Kill Buffet!

Yes, there is war. Tonight there will be a battle in Stargard. A huge force of CE/Tal/Tara and Carelia....Yes Carelia our former allies, are marching on Stargard as we speak. 50kcs of hostile forces massed against just 25kcs of Redspan nobles. The reasons of this battle are pathetic, only Talerium have a slightly viable reason. The different reasons are: We are a buffer realm to Abington so we must be destroyed, our infiltrators have been casueing havoc in CE, and the best one from Tara: We are just being true to our ally. Aka we are a puppet.

Carelia has not even bothered to speak to us or the world about why they are attacking us. Looks like thats 4 realms not getting cards at Goatsday now.

Undead Defeated In Lurgrod!

A few days ago an Undead horde appeared in Lurgrod, although not as great as the ones spotted around the continent, it was still a big group. The defending force was led by Duke Shamus and all the nobles surrounding the region made their way to the milita barracks. The fighting was all one sided. With arrows making nice neat holes in the bodies of the undead, the swords of the soldiers chopped different bit of their anatomy off. Arms and legs were flying everywhere, and evemn Duke shamus had 3 undead on the end of his lance, surprisingly they were still alive. They had to be finished by a soldier taking off the heads.

All in all it was a good battle, good experience that will definatly come in use later on in the years as the undead attacks dont seem to be yeilding.

News from around the continent says that there have been huge battles in Norland and Minis Ithil between them and the undead. The leaders of the hordes speaking jiberish but with some words understandable.

Also as the last article said Redspan was the 5th most powerful realm, we must also state that Redspan is now the 3rd Most powerful realm on the continent! Thats right ladies and gentlemen, little old Redspan is now stronger than all but two of the realms on Atamara.

Undead Widespread And Talerium Close By!

12th June 2007

The rumours have been confirmed, the undead have started to attack Atamara, there have been 4 sightings in Abington/CE/Carelia/Falasan. There have also been smaller sighting in Talerium lands. With the confirmation of the undead attacks, Abington and CE have agreed to a CF for the duration of the undead attack.

On another note Talerium forces have been spotted in Foda, they are building up their forces there. What direction they will take is still anyones guess, but the going bet is that they will go south to Redspan. Coincedently the statistics show that Redspan is the 5th most powerful realm on the continent. That is very surprising for being the 2nd smallest realm. Must be all that Sullenport stout we are drinking!

Tony's Comments

Just looks like there will be more bodies for the undead to use.

Shamus's Comments

I'd just like to publicly thank ASI for honoring their treaty with us regarding Rogeshore. It would have been very easy for them to blow it off, since we are not currently in a position to seek retribution. A very honorable action by their King and council that I will never forget. I hope it can be a cornerstone to building better relations with our northern neighbors, assuming RedSpan survives long enough.

Dielo's Comments

Ah, good to be back. Anyway, I got back to Stargard just before nightfall on 19/06 to see 40k cs attack defending 23k cs, only to get beaten soundly. Good times.
