The city and surrounding countryside are the birth place of the trade in Bloodmoon fruit prior to the arrival of the civilized kingdoms of Melodia Shadovar and later D'Hara. Though still used to a limited degree by the local peasants as a medicine and recreational intoxicant it has largely been forgotten.
