Pact of Brotherhood

Treaty Text 1. This pact is a testament to the creation of the Kingdom of Perleone; from which former citizens, nobles and cities of Perdan created. 2. Perleone stands alone as a self sustaining and autonomous government; and

   2a.  Perdan shall not make any demands of the Kingdom of Perleone; and
   2b.  Perleone shall make no demands upon the Kingdom of Perdan; and

3. Both Kingdoms shall hold, above all else, the following responsibilities owed to the other;

   3a.  Both Kingdoms hereby pledge to come to the Defense of the other unless not possible; and
   3b.  Both Kingdoms shall resolve all political matters within proper government channels; and
   3c.  Both  Kingdoms shall honor and uphold all Aid requests from the other before accepting or honoring Aid requests from other Kingdoms; and
   3d.  Neither Kingdom shall accept any terms within a treaty or pact that would hinder their ability to honor any part of this pact; and
   3e.  Neither Kingdom shall accept any terms within a treaty or pact that would harm or disparage the other Kingdom; and

4. Offensive military support shall be requested officially, utilizing the proper channels, however, neither Kingdoms is honor bound nor required to provide the other Offensive military support against the will of it Government; and 5. Both Kingdoms shall retain the freedoms to hold the style of government they see fit AND to allow or restrict the practice and spread of religion as determined by local laws and votes; and 6. This pact additionally establishes the following:

   6a.  Open Trade; and
   6b.  Open Transit of Boarders for non-military purposes by all nobles; and
       6b(1).  Offensive military transit must be requested of and granted by the other Kingdom; and
       6b(2).  Defensive military transit is always authorized by both Kingdoms; and
   6c.  Consolidated Guilds, should they arise, for the purposes of Intelligence sharing and gathering; comradely; trade; political exchange; defensive military coordination; and

7. Any future issues arising from this pact shall be discussed and handled via proper political channels; and

   7a.  Modifications to this pact require a full majority vote of the Councils of both Kingdoms; and
   7b.  At least 50% of the Council in each Kingdom's Council must cast a vote in order to determine majority.
