History & Information
Kalte Lanze could be best described as your typical 'north woods' nobleman. Being born and raised in such a rural, northerly location led to him growing fond of sports like hunting and of course ale drinking. Though certainly could not contend with even an average noble of the Barony of Makar, he certainly knows how to handle his alcohol.
Kalte Lanze is not the most 'noble' of nobles and can be rather rough around the edges. He is known to flirt or fraternize with enemy nobles of the opposite gender and even commoners when on campaign. While in service to the Ibladesh Theocracy, Kalte and his men looted the city of Perdan in search of women and came across a rare artifact known as the Spiked Dagger of Bloodletting. This weapon served him for quite awhile after its discovery and went with him on many more looting campaigns. He could be seen with it sheathed to his belt while 'rounding up' many peasant women in his younger days.
Before the fall of Ibladesh, internal strife and disagreement with several nobles of the Theocracy led to his leaving willfully to the continent of Beluaterra to aid in the battle against the demons. Serving under several realms while battling the horrors of Hell, Kalte had seen many things he would wish not to describe. He had been captured by the Demon Lord and tortured on three separate occasions, multiple times in fact. The man would remain a broken shell of a man for a great while after such tortures, but ultimately continued the fight for his realm of Nothoi and humanity as a whole. His efforts would eventually lead to him being elected as Sophos of Nothoi and later Baron of Xinjin where he continues to serve even at his advancing age. Though the man is only thirty-eight years of age, his many battles and experienced often leave him feeling ten or twenty years older than he really is and he has slowed down some because of it.

History & Information
Eviera is a quiet, beautiful young lady who would in most cases rather keep her opinions to herself rather than risk a confrontation that might upset balance and order within her realm. She has been known to silently 'protest' anything she deems dangerous in very subtle ways which often have little to know real affect, but also do not add to the turmoil. Serving the Morek Empire since she started her career, Eviera has made a name for herself as a very competent Courtier capable of handling even the dirtiest and most difficult of tasks. She has been praised by fellow nobles in her realm for carrying for regions in the farthest reaches of the empire which eventually led to her being appointed as Countess of Nidhogg's Mark, a backwater at the time that had constant issues with anarchists due to its lack of proximity to the empire's capital.
After the capital city moved to Muspelheim from Donghaiwei, Eviera found herself receiving the more prestigious title of Marchioness in the townsland region of Donghai. However, this region also was known for its separatist movements since the city of Donghaiwei was no longer the capital and now the seat of government sat very far away on the other side of the empire. Eviera would continue to earn a name for herself for not only managing and maintaining her own rebellious region, but greatly expanding its economy and also managing the other regions of the empire while their lords were away. Eviera would continue to keep to herself while gaining more renown and appreciation by the military and government nobles of the empire.
Eventually, her own beloved Duke would abdicate, leading to another Duke being appointed as well as his eventual abdication as well. This eventually led to a rather significant discussion within the realm's inner council as to who should become the next Duke of the Donghaiwei duchy. This shift of power would give way to a bit of a rivalry between Eviera and another popular, though newer noble in the realm, Lord Helm Altenahr who had much more military experience than Eviera but lacked an understanding or knowledge of all she had done for the realm before his joining. Eviera would eventually win the seat of Duchess due to popular support and the backing of the realm's Grandmaster Ingi Vlad.
Eviera has since found her challenging position even more challenging with many more tasks and responsibilities sapping her limited time. However, she has pulled through and continues to do so with great determination. The city of Donghaiwei and the duchy as well continues to prosper under her leadership and the realm in general has also experienced improvement with her service. Eviera couldn't see her working or living in any other realm.
