Brock Maxwell had challenged Aaron Kirsch to a duel for no apparent reason.

Letter from Loronzo

Message sent to everyone in your realm (103 recipients)

Ser Brock,
If it's a whipping you want, I'll give you one fine and dandy. But don't spring this sort of thing on poor Aaron, he's likely to send the secret police after ya.
Unlike me, I doubt you can fade into the mist!

P.S.- Sir Loronzo has reprimanded me for misquoting him. In reality he made no reference to the "silly nickname" given to him by many a "misbegotten youth". The reference was completely the work of me, the scribe Barton. He told me to write this addendum in hopes that it will save him on cost of paper... I mean so that all can see he doesn't approve of his mythological presence overwhelming his reality.

Loronzo Grey (Knight of Chato)

Captain Ludwig explains

Captain Ludwig stood in the midst of the RedSpaniards, speaking quite animatedly. Curious, he wandered close to here Ludwig's recounting of the battle. Perhaps he is speaking about King Tony's performance - Da Big Hat stood firmly at the walls with us.

"...and then, Loronzo of Mists descended from the trees and spake unto the foul challenger. 'Twas enough, his speaking, to have driven the man to his knees and reject the idea of handling a sword again, let alone challenging one to a duel."

Loronzo? Didn't I have a few ales with a Loronzo? Hmm. I don't remember him on this battlefield.

"Ludwig, what in the name of Da One are you talking about?"

"Oh, milord, Loronzo of the Mists has acted again. He is a mighty warrior."

"Ludwig, I don't think he descended from any trees. Stop speaking such nonsense. It was a letter to the challenger."

Slightly cowed, Ludwig responded, "Yes, milord."

Wandering off, Dabug thought to himself, Assuredly, he can't simply appear out of the mists.... Can he?
