The Shadowed House of Guile
House Guile rose from the depths of obscurity in Pian en Luries, Arcaea, and Thalmarkin a small age ago, and has been interrupted by several periods of Slumberblight. Directly descended from the Von Richthofen Family, who are descendants of an even more obscure and long-forgotten house, the children of the Fox are all well-educated in history, the arts of war, and spellcraft from an early age.
The family mausoleum is full of the collected bones of the many dead Guiles that have served various kingdoms over the years, from every one of the islands. Several of those believed by the public to be dead are, in reality, secretly retired to the family estate inside the the "City of Kings" district in Firbalt.
The reliquary of House Guile holds records, artefacts, and mementos from many of the grander events of the past. Although disputed claims exist: Jaeger Guile was gifted the genitals of Overlord upon the death of the invading daimonlord, and spent many years gathering up the majority of the other dissected parts of the remains and have kept them safely away from those who would use them for nefarious purposes. Several fakes have sprung up in recent years and the current Head of House, Ryosuke, has no interest in correcting those who purchased the fraudulent items. Among the many truly priceless artefacts within the vaults is a xuan-steel scale that came from the now-sunken stronghold of Nuzanki when it was under House Guile's stewardship.
