The Grand Peace, or Great Peace, was a forced cessation of conflict that occurred across the world in 05-1020. The true cause is not entirely known, some declare it was the will of Gods, others claim it was forced upon realms by families backing the nobles of the world.
The Grand Peace saw a number of changes across the world, including an end to the SIN War. In other places such as Beluaterra, it merely gave temporary abatement, as realms soon-after re-declared their intent to wage war.
