A fabled shield once carried by the legendary monster hunter Galiard. It is said that Galiard was exceptionally handsome and the woe of many father's as the rogue had a habit of stealing away their daughters in the dead of night. Fueled by his own ego, he had a shield forged of an extremely hardened silver, polished to the point where it was as reflective as a mirror. The monster hunter went on to clear many a monster den and undead crypts, using the shield to deceive the abominations he fought by tricking them with their own reflections.

Galiard's luck and charades eventually led to his demise as he had began to woo the daughter of a minor noble in the Eidulb Outskirts. When the household guard and the lord of the estate hunted Galiard down throughout the night, the reflection of their torches off of his shield gave away his position and led to his capture. Galiard was beaten and upon seeing what remained of his once beautiful self, was a broken man. He was sent into exile and gave up both monster hunting and courting, abandoning his shield and equipment on a hillside cave.

This cave would later become the den of a pack of monsters in the region, led by an alpha monster obsessed with its reflection in the shield. It was then found by the adventurer Tavich, who slayed the monster in search of bounty and too noticed the allure of the shield.

It also offered +8% Oratory at this time.

It was later owned by Cador Andrasta of Luria Nova.

Found by Dyve during his investigation in Flowrestown on August 12, 2020.
