FAQ/Tom's Position on Names

I'd like to stop this before it gets out of hands so much that I need to drop a hammer.

Remember the "benefit of the doubt" rule when banning someone for a bad name choice. And remember that in the real world, some people DO HAVE bad and/or unusual names.

Some cases are clear cut. Anyone named IWannaFuckYourMum deserves a kick no questions asked and no mercy granted.

But there are many borderline cases. People with names like Stoopid or Ehlrond. Maybe they can't type but maybe they really just like that name no matter that it's close to something that YOU don't want to see in the game.

Please reserve banning for names for the really clear cut cases. In the case of doubt - let the guy stay!
