The SIN War of East Continent is a continental war originating from an ancient fued between Perdan and Sirion over events from a century ago and has gone through many incarnations. At the start of 1020, the war consisted of the Perleoni Empire fighting against the Northern Alliance bloc of Eponllyn, Shadowdale, and Sirion. While Caligus remained a part of the war formally, informally King Rowan of Caligus and King Kay of Perdan had reached a non-aggression agreement, and Nivemus had formally withdrawn from the war in late 1019. The conflict came to a close with the declaration of a Great Peace.

Course of the War

Records begin with the Siege of Bescanon, the tail end of a Perdanese campaign to stabilise and reclaim regions driven rogue by the Northern Alliance, the attack on Bescanon was a blow to the North, depriving them of a secure staging ground, and leaving South Eponllyn vulnerable to attack from the Perleone Empire.

Northern Valentine's Day Invasion

May Campaign

In early 05-1020, after a significant refit period, Northern Alliance forces massed in Caligan territory in preparation for an assault on Vix Tiramora. Scouts and a long period of concentration allowed Vix Tiramora to call for aid from other members of the Perleoni Empire, namely Perdan. With the armies of Perdan indisposed in their march to Castle Ubent, Shadowdale launched an attack on the frontier region of Nascot in the Conquest of Nascot.

Shortly afterwards, the Northern Alliance marched on Vix Tiramora, and met in open battle in Ar Mosul. Lasting three days, the Battle of Ar Mosul was a tactical defeat for Imperial forces, though the Blood King of Eponllyn, Gray von Carstein, was captured by Perdanese troops, among other Eponlli nobles.

The campaign would ultimately be cut short by the will of the gods. Mysterious events occurred that magically removed all nobles in enemy territory to their capitals. Forewarning of divine intervention caused the Exarch Luna of Shadowdale to withdraw her troops to Akesh Temple, and halt the attempted takeover of Nascot.

The Great Peace saw the end of all conflicts in the World as determined by the gods, forcing an end to the SIN War.
