This armour was originally worn by Emperor Velax de Vere of Arcaea. The Chainmail was lost during a duel to the death with the Aenilia Harbinger Cyrus Osha, which ended in a draw with both warriors seriously injured. The Emperor was taken to the healers' tent to be treated and after his armour was stripped off, several thieves took advantage of the confusion to steal the armour. The Emperor, when he recovered, was...displeased.

Several months later, Arcaean noble Gary Ketchum allowed his men to forage the battlefield after a battle against some peasants led by an Aenilian noble in Anrimap. His men presented to him a Unique Item - armour once full of the blood and sweat of past champions. It was still stained with blood and not easy to clean. Gary smiled broadly: "It is an Item worthy of my blood after my critical wound which caused me bleeding for week."

After announcing this to his realm mates, the Emperor was overjoyed that his armour had been found, and Lord Gary was only too pleased to return it to him.

The recovery

There are lots of remains still around from the last battles in this region.
