With the recent loss of Steepglades the Assassins once again face the monumental task of providing estates and a steady income to its nobles. At the moment Eleven out of thirtythree nobles are without a steady income, Eleven nobles without a home, Eleven nobles not in a army. But things are not much better for those who have oaths. The three regions that still fly under the Assassin banner are overcrowded and the knights also recieve low pay. With three rogue regions around us now is the time. When ask about any possible exspansion General Evil had this to say.
"If it only were that easy to expand. Hulaferd is a war-torn wasteland, with 90% of our battles being fought on it's blood-soaked fields. The population will take months to recover, and during that time, we can expect little to no gold from the region. However, the region is of great strategic importance, and that is reason enough to try to bring it back under Assassin control. As for Helsera, are you familiar with the phrase "a bridge too far". Well, when building the road between Helsera and South Bakker, they hired two bridge builders. Both of them utterly insane. They built a bridge alright, a bridge that takes six days to cross. And that's if you're traveling light. Taking and maintaining Helsera would be a total nightmare. Steepglades is a possibility...I wish we had been able to hold the region before, because now their sympathy towards us is almost completely gone. The main problem is, the travel time is long, and we would have to make sure the Wetham front is adequately defended while we run the takeover. I doubt this will be a possibility until we restore Outer Tilog City to it's rightful owners."
